The Siren is a gender-inequality awareness magazine that is printed and distributed at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. We have been around since 2006 when we printed our very first issue. The Siren started because women on campus felt that they needed a publication that talked about gender issues and how they impact our daily lives. This magazine hopes to bring more awareness to UNC and the community at large about gender issues. If you are interested in getting involved or just have comments, please email Siren@unc.edu. We look forward to hearing from you!
