HEROINE

What's with the... bow? I would have passed over this outfit as another one of her nice coat looks, but no, they threw in that bow, which required me to talk about it. On one hand, I love the color scheme, on the other, she looks like a present. They could have been emphasizing the bodice, but outside of a coat? Just kinda weird all around. 6/10.

A friend of mine saw this scene and immediately said, "You're gonna Fashion Police this outfit, huh?" I guess I really am that predictable. Doesn't HGI look so good, though? It's nothing we haven't already seen her in, jeans, long blouse, short jacket, oversized purse, but these colors and fabrics just really click with me. I've done beige and black since middle school and show no signs of stopping. She looked especially put together in this getup. 9/10.

ACCESSORY

I looked and looked, but HGI stole the earring show too. I love silver, but nine times out of ten I vote for gold. I don't know, must be the underlying attachment to royalty or something. So we've seen all sorts of bulky (ahem, ugly) chandelier earrings in this show, but this was a nice left turn. The small circle is 99% of it, interrupting the earring as if to say, hey, be cooler than just dangly lines. I liked it a lot, even if it was a bit on the long side. Short hair can get away with it easier.
