EPISODE 6
DON'T

I'm all for the dancing-to-your-own-beat-no-matter-where-you-are fetish, but be more conscious of it if you're ever in a black and yellow patterened dress like this. I like HGI's secretary just fine and in fact, her earrings have come close to being Accessory Achievements in the past episodes, but this was a rude interruption. She looks vaguely jungle-like. It'd be a cute dress within a theme (use your imagination) but to actually wear (and to work, no less)--don't.
HEROINE

Wow. I actually like this jacket. It gives off a tweed feel and is some nondescript shade of pink that I should be writing off, but somehow, I just like it. Very feminine but still sensible, not too loud or too quiet. The neutral peach color of the dress underneath really compliments it. Overall, this soft, elegant look isn't my favorite but I definitely won't write off its effect. The white purse and hoops were interesting choices, since I always think of hoops as cooler and even tougher. Doesn't seem to fit this light style too well, but it isn't bad by any means. 8/10.
Now this outfit I saw in the press con pictures before the show aired, and I really don't know what I thought of it then either. I can do without the fur on the collar, but it doesn't look terrible. Honestly, I don't even like short jackets (maybe because I've never been able to pull them off), but it helps that she's in all black underneath. The pattern of the jacket is kinda funky, but I believe it because of the necklace. Amazing what one necklace adds to an outfit. It's a rusty, crafty look, so the green mess that I would normally brush off becomes abstract and kinda... moody. I did love her black boots, those were hot. 7.5/10.
