All right, I'll give her this much--the dress isn't bad at all. It's the color, especially on her. You've gotta be pretty pale and more olive than she is, otherwise you look psychedaelic. I'm not crazy about the puffier flow to the sleeves either, but the belt is nice. The layered necklace look is AWESOME, and you'll hear me go to town about it with HGI in the coming episodes. In general, though, with this dress, just don't.

HEROINE

The first non-black outfit! And actually, I hated the ruffles (see Hello! Miss FP's for the full spiel), but the good news was that when she let her hair down (or when JH did it for her), her shirt actually looked much better. It should have made her top seem busier, but somehow it actually balanced it. The orange was a good choice though, coupled with the tan, buff-colored skirt. Oh, but kill the boots already. What's with the knee boots and knee-length skirt combination, dramas just love it and I sit here shaking my head. Makes one's legs look really stumpy depending on the fit of the boot. 7.5/10.

Oh. Yeah. Start the HGI wardrobe fetish!!! I love her makeover wardrobe, and I would soooooo wear any of the pieces you'll see in coming eps. This red is great, and it really is her color. Again, I would be happy to 86 the ruffles, but overall, they're not as bad as they could be. Pencil skirt, wide belt, hoops, new haircut, and nice black bag = 9/10.
