EPISODE 1
DO

Just the dress, to be clear. They can 86 that thing on her head already, but the dress is in one word, awesome. This is my favorite shade of purple and the whole design of the dress is just very cool. 9/10.

DON'T

God, just don't ever do thin knee socks AND leggings. Two layers you do not need. And actually these heels would be really cute with the right dress (for a look more so than for coolness, but still), like I could imagine a red dress with huge white polka dots or stripes to fit the image. This, however, is the typical K-drama-wacky-main-girl's-even-wackier-close-friend getup.
HEROINE

I'll always think of this as her iconic first episode getup now. If one were to cosplay Lee Da Hae in this drama, this is the outfit they'd do it in. And um, well, hopefully they could breathe. The way they yanked these jeans up her waist just looked painful. The red plaid with the high, HIGH collar white shirt is also murder. That yellow coat isn't bad at all, just needs better stuff under it. She looked unnecessarily warm. 4/10.
A hanbok mention for the first time! Well, considering you never even saw one in Fantasy Couple, I couldn't really indulge. But on the record now, I love the hanbok for a number of reasons, the first being the colors. I like the way the top is usually a corresponding color with the skirt and makes the whole ensemble really vibrant. Number two, I love the flowiness of them, how they're very free fitting and still elegant. I know jack about how traditionally "correct" this one is, but I thought it was very cute. Those colored ropes she had around her hair were really cool too, I'd never seen those before. 9/10.
HERO

I loved him in this suit--classic black and lookin' spiffy as ever. Now normally I would scoff at the pinkish shirt underneath and write this off as another K-drama quirk, but Lee Ji Hoon surprisingly pulls it off just fine. It isn't overpowering or distracting in any way, even if it is a feminine color. He still looks very male and put together, so extra points for having the charisma to make this work. 8/10.
