This was NOT a whim, I just kept it secret until now. About two weeks ago, I finally watched "Friends", the first joint drama between Japan and Korea, which is only 4 episodes long and stars Won Bin and Fukada Kyoko. Kaaj told me about it a while ago, but as usual, I never got around to it. The other day, I felt like watching a good Jdrama and didn't want to sit through 10+ episodes, so I found some interesting tanpatsu's instead. "Friends" is very cute and has more couple moments than most 16-episode Kdramas, so watch it for the eye candy and the sugary sweet moments. Acting, sub-par, but watchable just because both main actors are so fuggin' HAWT.
That said, I made a video for it to a piano version of "After All," which is a fabulous ballad from my childhood. I am kinda, sorta, not really breaking my own rule about not using American songs for Asian shows, since it IS originally an American song, even if it's just a piano version. The more rules I set, the more gray area I find.
Enough babbling! For now, I have it on YouTube, and the Crunchy link will come later. Ta ta til the next surprise ~

The August calendar was finished earlier this week, but I kept putting off updating until today. The winning drama this month is My Name is Kim Sam Soon! Which I still haven't watched in its entirety, but since everybody just gushes to high heaven about it, I thought I'd appease the fans.
In other news, the Dal Ja video will come along when it wants to. :D I'm not abandoning it, I'm just putting it off for the right day. Also, the site will go through a design overhaul soon. I've wanted to break out of the blog style for a while now, but could never think of a more functional design. I have something in the works going pretty well, though, so I'll be unveiling that sometime this month.

I'm still keeping up! The July calendar is ready, and what better to feature than an original July drama--Coffee Prince! You'll notice that I'm playing with different styles for these calendars as well, so you're not always looking at the same old matrix. Hopefully I get more creative as the months go by.

Two updates tonight, the first being a short editorial about fan music videos. I wrote most of it over a year ago, but it still applies today. It's a rant and a lesson, so you get chastised AND taught. See? I'm fair.
The second is a new About page, with general info about the site, me, and past layouts. If you don't already know me from Soompi or elsewhere, you can read up on my quirks. Ciao til next time ~

My Dal Ja video is coming along smoothly (and with a new song!), but I still don't expect to be done until July or August. I do have the next calendar for you, and I promise I'll get around to dramas soon. For now, check out Mrs. Choi Dong Joon as the June poster girl--better known as Han Chae Young.

This is a "real" update now, folks, because I'm unveiling a new section that will hopefully keep me more active with this site. Introducing K-Drama Monthly, a wallpaper monthly calendar featuring rotating dramas, actors, and actresses. To start us off with May, I chose Ha Ji Won, so head on over to the new Monthly page to check it out!
The only catch to this is, I pick only those I like for my calendar (duh). So you can bet your fortunes you're going to see some LDW/LDH, Kim Jung Hoon, Dal Ja, etc. All my staples have found another graphic outlet, muahahahaha.

Welcome to version 4.3, Heaven! Yes, I'm back to brown. I can't help it, it's such a pleasing website color that most people overlook. My new poster children are Kim Rae Won and Kim Tae Hee, who have a loyal following thanks to Love Story in Harvard.
I also realize that I haven't delivered on anything I said I would, i.e., Dal Ja's Spring and Coffee Prince goodies. I've fallen out of watching K-dramas in the past few months, so everything with this site came to a standstill. The only thing I can promise now is the Dal Ja's Spring music video, which I'll finish this summer.
Speaking of videos, I decided to make them all streaming-only. Why? Well, to be blunt, there are too many shameless copycats across the internet who just don't deserve to download my videos. They cut my clips, use my music, and basically rip me off without hide of hair of credit, mention, or even "inspired by." I know this new restriction is a great example of closing the barn doors after the horses are out, but for any future videos I do, I don't want to make it available for pathetic knock-offs. You can find most of my videos on YouTube or Crunchyroll, so search away.
Til next time ~
