Ryosuke plays that stock hero well enough, being so young and blasé. Tell me something, though, why is there always an older-man-incompetent-detective character in J-mysteries? They bore me to tears, every single one of them. The real hoot was Satomi as the nurse. Such a crazy, over-the-top character.

The big twist was overshadowed only by the suspension of disbelief. Come on, Yu puts on a face mask and that's it? He should have peeled off plaster like Robin Williams in
Mrs. Doubtfire. Now that would have been a breakthrough.

"Just hurry up and hit me, you selfish, debt-ridden woman." That was pure gold. The whole sequence in the closet was definitely the best interaction they had, for not being romantic at all.
