Notes
This is what I love about mysteries! Quick, smart writing because the genre calls for it. Everything is a potential puzzle piece, so you really do hang onto every word. Episode 1 had solid writing all around, no complaints. Episode 2, not as gripping, but respectable.

The anime wackiness radiates through the screen, but everyone plays their part to the hilt. Again, it's a genre where you expect certain cardboards. I also love that Ran isn't the typical damsel in distress who needs the hero to save her. He eventually does, of course, but not for lack of trying on her part.

Typical whodunit endings, very satisfying, but not really rateable.
Standard.

Shun and Tomoka are great, and they had a surprising amount of longing gazing. Individually, they were the reasons I wanted to watch this tanpatsu in the first place, but now I can say they're strong together as well.
