Notes
Conversations about her childhood fame go on and on and make for some tired repetition. Nothing is especially profound at first but as the characters grow, you see more exchanges land.
The first two episodes are SNORE. Some it is necessary to establish the black hole the heroine has lived in for years, but every scene is so slow and sleepy in the beginning. I stayed on purely because of Kimura Ryo.
Great characters who all change and mature into productive members of society. Keito starts out with all the effect of day-old tuna, but you officially jump on her side when she becomes Momiji's avenger, since it's so incredibly easy to like Momiji. Koichi is the typical quiet, brooding hero, and he's certainly pretty enough for it. Finishing it all off is Gota, the heart and soul. A few cardboards have to add the drama, but once they're offscreen you forget about them.
Good themes, not great. I was sympathetic, but not wowed.
No shark to jump.
Fully resolved and feel good. But what was with the mixed lineup for holding hands?
Standard.
Unremarkable enough that I don't remember.
Reserved, but sweetly written. Both actors were new to me, so it took some time for me to feel it. I wish Mitsuki had had a little more expression in her eyes, because she never really matched Katsuji Ryo's steady gaze.
