Dang, already episode one and we're already hit with a painful flashback. I like how they did this, because in other things I've seen, they normally wait to reveal the background of a character. And then you end up with all those whiny, annoying girls who complain about how they hate the lead character because she's such a b*tch and how she has no reason to hate her dad yadda yadda yadda. At least there's some justification to how Yoo-hee is early on.

Well Moo-ryong didn't have to go _that_ far. He must really like to cook if he made all THAT for someone he clashed heads with from the start. Unless this is some sort of secret revenge like poisoning her food with laxitives, or like subliminally poking fun at her because there's enough food for two, but as we all know Yoo-hee is lacking in that department....

He's back~~~~ You know how I whined that I was gonna miss fangirling about Jae Hee? Well that's because I didn't think I'd start these awards so soon. But after watching the first couple of eps, there was no way I could not do them. But for sure I've missed him these past two years. Gawd it's so nice to know that he still has the same great expressions he had before. And I don't know why, but for some reason when Yoo-hee imagined that she was dead, Moo-ryong was there to report. Kinda wtf but still cute anyways. Jae Hee makes such an adorable reporter don't you think? I wouldn't mind watching him on the 10 'o-clock news =dddd (btw, did anyone notice that they played the same background music they used in Choon-hyang for that scene?)

Haha just look at that glare o' death Moo-ryong is laser-beaming at Yoo-hee. And all she's got to show in response is just "oops, my bad" type of expression. I liked how his hand was shaking when he wiped off his face:
Moo-ryong: Steady Chae Moo-ryong....remember, your friend's job is on the line. Refrain from hurting her now and take it out on that stupid clown who lives next door to you when you get home...
Yoo-hee: =D????
Moo-ryong: >( . . .
I also giggled at that wtf expression Yoo-hee had when she saw Moo-ryong's shoes. It's sorta like in the Emperor's New Groove and Yzma was talking her head off and Kuzco noticed that piece of spinach stuck in her teeth:
Kuzco:Whoa! Look at those wrinkles. What is holding this woman together? What the...How long has THAT been there?
I could seriously quote Disney movies all day. Don't even get me started, I'll never stop :D

Ok, this may or may not stay. Now before you guys all start throwing stones at me for thinking that I've betrayed my love for Jae Hee (ha! like _that_ would ever happen), lemme explain. This show has 3 lead male actors: Jae Hee, Dennis Oh, and Kim Jung Hoon. And all THREE of them are hot like 50 jalepenos in the middle of the summer with no water to drink. Now, being as lazy as I am I don't wanna do 3 awards for the each of them. Which brings me to my point: I could potentially bring in Neeko's all famous Hottie of the Week award in the form of Hottie of the Day. Why am I not doing it already? Well, something seriously bugged me about Dennis's hair this episode, so he was out. And Kim Jung Hoon just didn't show up enough for me to think about him (although the instant I saw him on screen I had to refrain myself from making out with my computer). And, I wanted to relieve my Choon-hyang days for old time's sake (hah, that was only like 2 weeks ago xD). Anywhoo...just keep an eye on this one, if I do change to the HotD format I'll update the graphic, as if any of you actually care about my long-winded thought process as long as you guys get eye candy...
Dudes...I just realized I didn't actually comment on anything related to the cap.

meh, oh well. Next!

Haha, whatever Moo-ryong's thinking it looks like it's something REALLY dirty. xDDDD Honestly, I try not to have my head in the gutter, but I just can't help it ^_^v

*sighs and sits back in chair* I think this is the first time where I put the non-featured coupling in this award in the first episode. I feel weird in some way or another. *goes off to wash off feeling with clips of Choon-hyang*

All I have to say is: Yoo-hee, you crack head.

I've heard about the pinky sticking out when you drink like tea or something, but the index finger???? Like wth? Is that just something Han Ga-in does, because I've NEVER seen that before. I am utterly confused, is this like...Korean style ettiquette? o_o???

Ok, you guys wanna know the reason why it takes me so EFFING LONG to put out awards? 50% of my time is devoted to photoshopping out these stations' stupid logos. And this is THE most obnoxious logo I've seen in my entire life. Seriously, just take up the whole screen you jerks. I think they get rid of it by ep 5 or something, but wth. I know I swore I'd never review another SBS show again after My Girl, but I made an exception for Yoo-hee because of Jae Hee. Man how the heck did they find out I'd do anything for him? But like seriously, what the hell does ubc actually mean? *don't try to tell me, that was a rhetorical question*
Overall thoughts: well at the end of the day, don't you think this drama got to a very nice start? So many things happened, but yet nothing feels rushed. We even got to see a small glimpse of Kim Jung Hoon (that hot little mess) even though it was short lived and had nothing to do with the rest of the story (I think). I didn't even get to touch on how cool Yoo-hee was when she tae kwon do-ed that one dude in the restaurant. Gotta love a woman who can kick someone's @$$. And you gotta love the director for incorporating the same actors he's had before and even mixing them up a little. They even had the dude who played that crazy dude who stalked secretary Yoon from My Girl. And it's really great to see Ahn Suk Hwan play Jae Hee's dad again. Although I'm a little disappointed since his character is much more toned down than the way he was for Choon-hyang. I mean he's still nice and all, but I liked how he looked like he'd pull a gun on you in Choon-hyang, vs here where he's just one big teddy bear. I like my teddy bears to have an edge please. =/
