episode 5

I know she's smiling here, but the whole story about how she doesn't know when her birthday is because her mom died and that her dad wasn't around because he was running away from some gang again is just really pitiful. Unless you lived back in the dark ages, how can you not know when your birthday is? Poor girl really needs a box of chocolates right now or something.

And with the previous being said, I really thought it was so nice of Gong-chan promising to remember that when it snows will be Yoo-rin's birthday. I mean how sweet was that? He was so genuine and sincere I could've just pinched his cheeks off, I really could. Not to mention the fact that he still was concerned about Yoo-rin's knee that he came in and dressed her wounds. Now how awesome is that? Oh this would've been a perfect moment for the writer's to add in an aweseome "almost kiss" where Gong-chan could've "accidentally" fallen on top of Yoo-rin and barely kissing her. And when he walks away his head is reeling from the fact that his heart is beating so fast and he's thinking "why is my heart beating so fast?" Puehehe this is gold. *tucks away material for potential K-drama script*

Oh my goodness that very first scene where Yoo-rin chases after Gong-chan's car and gets out of breath was perfect. At first you would've thought that it was going to be a somber moment, but nope the writers beautifully found a way to turn the situation around. And I loved Yoo-rin's "Food *pant pant* Bag *pant pant* ...Gimme". I also really loved the pool scene. I found it hilarious to see all those people tell their stories of how they got own3d by Yoo-rin and that she totally got those two back for making her just sit around. As for the runner up, I just had to mention this part even if it didn't last for very long and didn't add much to the episode. It's like their posing for one of those generic photos that manufacturer's put into picture frames to show what you're picture could be like in their picture frame. No seriously, can't you see it? You know you want to print out that pic and put it in your wallet right now don't you? You can admit it. I won't tell anybody, I'll just laugh at you :D

Oh geez this part was pure gold. I loved how at the end of the conversation made whatshisface go "Yaeeee~~~~~~" with those squiggly lines. Watching this show has definitely given me lessons on how to successfully get yourself out of tight spots. Yoo-rin should produce a video or something. She'd make tons o' cash, which she probably like since we all know how she luvs $$$$

I normally talk about a guy's good characteristics by this point in the drama, but I can't get over how good Lee Dong Wook looks all the time. Like honestly he's too handsome to pay attention to what he actually does. gets starry eyed =*_*=

Hehe I couldn't help myself. I just found this part so funny, especially when his mom was about to chuck her shoe at him. Anyways, this award is for all you Junki fans who want to fawn at this sleeping beauty. lolz xD

Eh...nothing hot really happened in this episode. So I just stuck in a cap where it looks like Gong-chan is about to sweep Yoo-rin into his manly arms and plant a wet one on her. What? HECK NO I'm not going to put that kiss between Gong-chan and tennis chick here. That's just barf. I'm still reeling from Goong Episode 9. >(

So I was originally going to put this in the funny category, but I thought they were just being so darned _serious_ that I couldn't just leave it at that. Geez it's like they're filming some epic war movie or something. Reminds me of those Chinese movies that are based in the 50's that my mom watches.

Welcome to Theed's rant session. Today's topic: girls who realizes that she loves a man before he realizes he loves her. Ok, I've just seen this way too many times. Rarely in a K-drama do you get a guy who knows he's in love with a girl before she realizes she loves him. The majority of cases seems to be that the guy intuitively shows that he likes a girl through his actions, but in no way does he explicitly know that he loves her. Instead it's the female who always realizes before the guy. And what does this translate to? All this grief and angst for the girl while she waits for the guy to catch up. Are guys really this dense in real life? I mean I know female is the superior gender, but really? I mean this happened in Full House, Sweet18, Kim Sam Soon, Goong, and the list goes on. The only example I can think of right now is Dae Jang Geum, but it was so freakin subtle. *begins to throw things*

Ewwwwww. This girl made me want to GAG. Like seriously this girl looked so sketchy and her English _sucks_. Like wth? Did they just grab a drunk chick out of a hotel or what? They had such a good American girl earlier, what happened? And look at her teeth. Get some braces and some corrective surgery to fix that overbite girl. Yuck. Speaking of yuck, wtf is tennis chick wearing? Just because two shirts look nice by themselves doesn't mean you have to wear them together. That shade of green _totally_ doesn't go with what she's wearing over it. It's like saying "oh, I like steak. And I like ice cream. I should eat those together, it'll taste great." 9_9 Honestly who let her walk out of the door like that?

Overall thoughts: mm...pretty decent episode. Seems like things are finally picking up with Yoo-rin's growing feelings, especially with that last scene at the party. 'bout time too because I'm ready for some real Yoo-rinxGong-chan action.
