episode 16

This part was really heart wrenching to watch. I mean you could literally see Gong-chan's heart breaking apart when Yoo-rin made it seem like their entire relationship was totally fake. And I felt so bad when I saw Yoo-rin walk away, the look on her face was like she just committed murder or something. I could never imagine having to actually do that to someone. And I know I could've picked some other moments too...but meh. I'm lazy. I'm sure you all know that by now =P

I can't believe Sae-hyun finally came to her senses. It took her two long friggin years, but she finally did. So for that she earns brownie points, I dunno if I take her off my hit list though. And all those other family members were so great too. I just found it so nice how they knew that all Yoo-rin was doing was to protect Gong-chan and that grandpa was able to change his heart because of it.

Dong-wook looked too freakin goofy for me not to put this award. Basically when I took the cap I didn't really pay attention to any other moments. I mean I could've added something from the very last scene...but I remind you, I'm lazy. So meh

Oh I loved this parody scene. They should do this more often, where they cross two drama characters together. Like if Lee Young-jae and Han Ji-eun came to visit the palace in Goong. And the way "Choon-hyang" just laid it into Mong-ryong...man they must have great make-up sex xDDDDDD And I must say after a year, Jae Hee is still looking mighty fine. I'm gonna have to rewatch Choon-hyang eventually...

Ok ok, I know I'm not one for neanderthal-esque actions, but I couldn't help myself this time. And actually he's not really being a jerk because he knows whatever Yoo-rin is doing is complete bull. I just found it so hot when Gong-chan shoved that engagement ring on her...or maybe I just like the ring. Whatever, LDW was looking very attractive right here. You can question my choices in things sometimes...but eh, I stick by my choice.

Man, if only those stupid SBS messages weren't flying across the bottom of the screen during this scene, I could've totally gotten a better cap of this awesomely hot kiss. How's a person supposed to be able to photoshop with all that friggin text in the way? Anyways, this entire elevator moment was too hot. If there was one thing I had to pick that was definitely done better in My Girl than in Choon-hyang, it'd _have_ to be the kissing. Either Koreans have wizened up a bit since Choon-hyang aired, or LDW is just a mighty fine kisser. But in the end I expect all of us Wookies just want to know what it _really_ is like to kiss this one hawt guy *wriggles eyebrows suggestively*

Like the saddest award, there was a lot to choose from for this award. But I think this moment where Yoo-rin makes up complete fluff in front of the family was the most profound. The fact that she loved Gong-chan so much that she actually sacrificed her own dignity must've taken a lot. And it's interesting to think that despite that, this is what made Gong-chan's family realize that she was lying, because unless someone was punch drunk crazy in love, there'd be no way someone would just admit to all that the way she did. I kinda like how the Hong sisters empower their female leads a bit like this rather than have the stereotypical male lead come to action.

Do these kids no nothing about strangers? I mean have their parents ever told them not to get to close to people they don't know? Actually, you know what? It makes sense. I mean, where _are_ their parents? What people would let their kids roam Seoul all by themselves and end up in the 63 building? It's a darn good thing it's Gong-chan here and not someone else. But y'know he did look kinda creepy when he picked up that coin. I mean if I were those kids I'd just run away screaming "CRAZY MAN! CRAZY MAN!!!!" Now wouldn't _that_ have lightened up the mood? :D

ok, like it says, this _has_ to be mentioned. Racquetball appeared in almost every single episode, but I never found it appropriate to put it in any of the awards. Seems like if you want to vent out your anger you should just hit a rubber ball around a room. Now I'm not saying Racquetball is girly or anything, but don't you think it'd be waaaay hotter for them to have played like basketball or something? Better yet, swimming, that way we'd get to see their chests :D

Overall thoughts: Gah it's over. Kinda just hits you out of nowhere don't it? I found myself wanting to stick in the next episode as I was rewatching these episodes for these reviews, but because of the time commitment needed to make just one review I'd have to save it for the next day and man that sucked. I'm pretty sure I'll rewatch My Girl again sometime since it's one of those light hearted dramas that's good for a laugh. A little nitpick though, while I thought that everything wrapped up rather nicely with this finale, I kinda thought the very end was a bit odd. I mean it was very cute to see our Choon-hyang couple again, but it kinda deviated from the couplage of Yoo-rin and Gong-chan whereas in the finale for Delightful Girl Choon-hyang it ended with their wedding and you really saw their love. Eh I guess the parody really wouldn't have fit in elsewhere, but I just thought that last two seconds we saw of Gong-chan and Yoo-rin was a bit disappointing. They should have at least brought out Yoo-rin Jr. shouldn't they? Eh anyways, I've had fun re-doing these reviews. It actually renewed my interest in Dong-wook, because believe it or not I actually forgot how attractive he was since I hadn't seen My Girl since last winter. I hope you all enjoyed my comments as I had fun going through the episodes again to make them. See y'all around, and remember "You'll be blessed!" Byasha!
