episode 14

Remember what I said about suffocating? Yea, Yoo-rin almost sounds like she's struggling for air. But what I think is even more heart wrenching was Gong-chan. I give props to My Girl for Hiring Lee Dong Wook and giving him a chance to show some real emotion. I think it's pretty rare to see a guy just pour his heart out on screen, especially for a romantic comedy. I think the only other examples I can think of are Full House and Goong, but there's something about Lee Dong Wook here that just makes my heart ache differently. *bumps LDW higher up on the "list"*

I just found it so nice that Gong-chan's family has been so accepting of Yoo-rin even if they barely knew much about her past. It's too bad that Yoo-rin really wasn't related to them and that Yoo-rin had to leave at the end of this episode. And it's probably what Yoo-rin has yearned for so long. ;_; You softies out there must've needed a ton of tissues for this ep, that's all I can say.

o_______o Like omg how friggin _adorable_ is that baby???? Like about 20 billion pink unicorns, 300,000 puppies and kittens, 50 care bear tapes, and 20 gigantic plush pandas could soooooooooo not top how friggin cute that baby is.

Haha this was sorta like all those KBS drama spoofs that the Hong sisters threw in for Delightful Girl Choon-hyang. I loved how they poked fun at Korean dramas by showing all the tricks in the book. And the acting was so cute too. Ugh, what I'd give to be on set that day.

I thought it was so adorable how Gong-chan still remembered how he couldn't get Yoo-rin to lay her head on his shoulder when they were in the theater, so he did it in the cab. I sure wish I could do that. He's single right? *googles his address*

I really couldn't find a hot moment at all in this episode. I couldn't even find a shot where I could make something up. And that's saying something since if you've been reading my stuff long enough you all know how big my imagination is *nudge nudge wink wink*. So in order to compensate for that I am instating the use of one of my most favorite awards from Goong: the To Be Punched Award. This is a one time deal mind you, because that'd too friggin depressing if there's no more hot moments after this (and it's friggin episode 14). Anyways, I just really really really really really wanted to bash tennis chick in the shins and totally ruin her stupid tennis career. Honestly how can a girl be so friggin jealous and hateful? Yea she has a broken heart. So go cry about it and be done with it. Who in their right mind would purposely make sure that their ex-gf/bf was completely miserable? No one that's who. She's completely psycho and I'm about ready to just jump into my screen and lay it into her. Yea, she bugs me that friggin much >(

Despite all that heartache at the end of the episode, we were definitely treated to some nice moments before it all went down the tube. I just love that little moment they shared in his office where she was calculating all her tabs sans her wardrobe and how he took her out for k-bbq and promised that he wouldn't leave her for longer than 10 days. I especially loved how he wasn't afraid to hold her hand in public and just wanted to enjoy being with her. It's so couple-y. *girly sigh*

Ok, like _how_ many frickin times did Secretary Yoon just walk past Yoo-rin's dad and _completely_ miss him? Like is she blind or something??? Or maybe she's a little preoccupied making googly eyes for that guy with the girly hair. I could've accepted one pass. But as a writer you don't friggin have several passes and have them MISS every single frickin time!!! I was about ready to scream because of that. DON'T EFFIN TORTURE ME LIKE THAT!!! >=( And while we're on the subject of bad writing, what the heck was up with the whole 2 years later thing??? Ok, first of all I want to put it on the record that I love My Girl. I do...for the most part. The reason why I'm not going crazy crazy over it is because the Hong sisters tend to reuse elements already exhausted from other k-dramas, which I can forgive for the most part. But was really kinda stupid for me how they copied some of the same things they used from Choon-hyang tit for tat. Like the 2 years later was soooo the same thing. I mean they even have Gong-chan wearing glasses like Mong-ryong did in Choon-hyang. It's not so blatant in other areas and actually they did have some creativity with how they used gong-chan's aunt and Jang sungsaengnim. *sigh* That's my rant. I won't mention it again. I promise. *runs away from avid My Girl fans*

[Warning: this may have some spoilers for you, then again I pretty much spoil a lot in these reviews, so if you don't realize it yet then you're pretty dumb too :D] Ok, I just _have_ to mention this. How the heck could I have been so blind? Honestly, the first time I watched this I _totally_ did not realize that was Han Chae-young. I mean that _is_ her right? Because she does appear in the last episode. I felt so dumb realizing it as I rewatched it today. I felt so friggin dumb for missing such an _obvious_ clue. *bangs head on desk* stupid stupid stupid x_@
Overall thoughts: I'm too emotionally drained right now to give any final thoughts. *wanders off to find Lee Dong Wook's phone number*
