episode 1

I remember this dude from 1% of Something and he was the sweetest granfather ever. So seeing him again in My Girl was really nice, though it was a really big shock for me to see him bedridden and hooked up to who knows what. I just felt so much sympathy for him, especially when he was expressing so much guilt over his deceased daughter and son-in law and his missing granddaughter. Who here needs a tissue? ;_;

Hehe, so I was originally going to pick another moment, but I couldn't get good caps of it (and I have MQ rip, so that was an extra trouble) so I chose this instead ^^; I really liked the fact that even though she was basically robbing Gong-chan, she sincerely tried to make up for it as much as she could. Plus she kinda looks like my sister right there when she wants to do some derm treatments to my face. Aka creepy clown face. Y'know, big eyes, wide smile and the other person is like _right there_ in your face. I normally run away screaming from my sister. xP

IMMA EAT YOU!!!!! Hehe. I think the one thing I remembered the most from episode 1 after I finished watching the series was this part where she looks longingly at the food. I guess the reason why I remember it so well is because I'm always getting so hungry, especially when I'm at school and all my freakin friends have snacks on them, but me being poor never eat except during meals. *shakes angry fist* If you're eating something good right now while you're reading this I officially stick my tongue out at you =P As for my runner up, well what can I say? Yoo-rin is a freak. Hehe, no really I mean that in a nice way. She's a cute little freak the way she was going crazy over those tangerines. <3

I thought it was so freakin funny the way she kept trying to con Gong-chan out of his money but he kept unknowing found ways to wriggle out of the situation and Yoo-rin's ensuing frustration. She tries so hard to be a conartist, especially during that initial airport scene where she was stalling to keep the plane from going off. I thought it was hilarious, especially when it was so obvious that she was faking it. But you know I wonder why they even let her on the plane and past security. Airports these days don't even let you into the waiting area unless you've got a boarding pass. She's one smooth talker that Yoo-rin *nods* Oh let's not forget another precious moment where she's putting her skills to the test at the hospital. Even I couldn't think so fast on my toes to get away from that gang. I was actually pretty impressed with the way she managed to get around with all those different disguises. She should go into intelligence. What with her language skills they could've turned this into a Korean version of Alias. And btw if you didn't know I was _crazy_ about Alias. So I'd so be all over that. Oh yes I would, especially if they found a Korean version of Michael Vartan *_* begins to daydream...

*le sigh* Lee Dong Wook is one handsome gent if I do say so myself. He's got that chick flick romance movie aura that a lot of guys don't have. And it helps that he doesn't have girly perm hair like a lot of K-drama guys have (well some guys can work it, but most just look weird), and of course there's the suit that I've always been a fan of (if you haven't read my other reviews, well just know that I _love_ my men is suits =D). Oh btw you'll notice that I don't have a Junki award. Well...I have a feeling that I might not be doing one since I'm not a fan girl of his so having a fan girl award for a guy I'm not so into would be weird. Plus he didn't really have any good moments in this episode anyways. But who knows, I might add one later on and thus avoid the death threats from all those Lee Junki fan girls (and yes I'm well aware that he won the Soompi King contest recently so I fear you all o_o)

I've never ever seen anything like this in any K-drama. Ever. Like where else have you seen two people laying in bed making out? And they most likely slept together a couple of times too. Like most k-dramas I've seen either imply sex or sex is used in the purest form (yes I know that's probably an oxymoron). But this is just hot stuff. And Junki doesn't look like such a bad kisser either if I do say so myself. I may not be a fan girl, but I am an fan. Hey, if he wants to make out with me I wouldn't mind =D

Ehhhhh, there was nothing terribly romantic in this episode at all. And if you say there is you guys have a bad case of LDW/LDH shippiness. So I'm gonna do what I did with Full House and stuff in an "intense moment" scene. Et Voila. *hops off*

So call me discriminatory if you want, but I really have a fetish for hair. And this ain't one of the styles I care for. Like dude get a haircut you hippie. And it's not that I mind the long hair either, some guys can _totally_ look hot with long hair. But the majority of guys can't and he's part of that majority. What's worse is that his hair looks a little more silky and luxurious than my hair and that's just wrong. >=(

This isn't a permanent award, but I just _had to mention the fact that Lee Mong-ryong's parents are in this drama! For the longest time I had no idea that this show was written by the same people who did Delightful Girl Choon-hyang, so I thought it was just a coincidence that they were cast together again. And it's so funny to see them in such different roles. Like Mong-ryong's dad is so...rugged. Hehe ^^; Oh this is gonna be good...
Overall thoughts: This was a pretty good episode. And you probably would already know from watching this episode yourself that I had a _lot_ of cutest and funniest moment caps lined up for photoshopping. One little critique I have is that Lee Da Hae tends to try to hard and overact early on in this series, she gets better though. And it's not necessarily a bad thing for a romantic comedy such as this one. And as a side note I had no idea that Joo Yoo-rin was played by the same girl who played Moon Ga-young in Sweet18. I literally had a disillusionment and was like OMG OMG OMG when I first found out because Moon Ga-young is well...a psychotic b*tch. The difference hit me so hard and I was like dang Lee Da Hae is good. Hehe ^^; If you don't believe me go ask Apple to relive the moment =D
