episode 8

I just loved this episode because of all the Shin and Chae-gyung interaction. Ever since episode 7, Shin has really warmed up to Chae-gyung and even seems to enjoy her company a lot. I especially thought the scene where Chae-gyung calls Shin "Seja-jeonha" and he replies with "Bin-goong mama" was so sweet. All these sweet husband and wife moments are gonna give me cavities. And that's no good because I don't have dental and I have a huge history of cavities...literally. *points to back of mouth and all the fillings ...~shiny~ *_*

As if all the sweet moments weren't giving me cavities, they just gotta bring in all these cute moments too! *holds mouth from the pain of all the toothaches thanks a lot MBC* Wasn't it so cute when they showed those side-by-side shots of Shin and Chae-gyung playing in their rooms? Chae-gyung trying to recreate the back scene with the Shin plushie and Shin playing that stick game (I have got to ask my TA what the name of it is in Korean) with his teddy bear. I also loved the part where Shin tells Chae-gyung that he couldn't sleep either because he was "in the prime of manhood". Puahahaha, he was like "W-w-well, I-I uh...", he's so cute to be struggling with his words. Shin darling, I think the words you're looking for are: "Chae-gyung, I admit it. You're sexy, can we make out now?"

Oh man, Gung Nessi needs to learn how to knock! I was laughing so hard when Chae-gyung shot him that "Can't you see I'm in the MIDDLE OF SOMETHING!??!" She looked like she was gonna murder the dude. And she didn't even get to hug his back either. She even had the perverted eyes-rolled-back facial expression when she was going for it too. If this scene wasn't so funny, it prolly would've made Hottest moment. *puahahahaha*

Ok all you Shin haters, this episode shows a lot about why Shin is the way he is. Poor boy had to live in the palace all of his life, and even his own mother wouldn't permit him to call her, "Uhma". And I felt so bad for him when he tried it again as a teenager and she still shot him down. *poor shin* I'm so happy he has Chae-gyung now. I loved how she was cheering him up after that too. *has an aw~ moment* My saddest runner up goes to Chae-gyung having to see Shin leave without her. You could tell she really wanted to go, especially since she probably wants to be with Shin. But it's ok since Shin was only looking out for his father's health. I don't understand why he didn't explain that to CG tho. Would've made her feel less depressed about being left behind.

I really like how sincere Shin was in this scene. Explaining all the details about living with a real family like he was a cultural anthropologist. You could tell it was a good experience for him and I think he became a lot warmer to Chae-gyung because of it. But uh, what's with that bowtie? I'm not against bowties or anything, but that one makes him look silly. x_X

I really love this calm peaceful look that Yul has during this scene. I didn't really like Yul anywhere else in this episode because a lot of it had to do with his Shin rivalry with Chae-gyung, whether intentional or not, but this scene was a lot better because he's just focusing on how much he adores Chae-gyung. Oh dear...I think I got another cavity. T_T

Tell me you saw this coming. Because you'd be blind as a bat if you didn't. This scene was so...so...*_* Sits and stares at screen cap Gah! This was so hot! Shin should've kissed her! Or Chae-gyung should've grabbed his head and pulled it downward. Or something! MBC is such at tease! I know this isn't the right moment in time for them to kiss, but gah! You don't have two main characters get into a position like that and then have them do nothing! And personalized cupid is fired. Time and time again he has failed to shove them into a kiss. I am very disappointed *puts up fliers and want adds for new cupid for Shin and CG*

*le gasp!* The most romantic moment isn't a Shin/CG moment????? Have I gone mad? Am I ill? No, it's just that this episode has a lot of sweet/cute/hot/funny Shin and Chae-gyung scenes, but none of them really classified as "romantic". But this scene did. Hehe. It's the same part where the Yul award came from, and that's partly the reason why this scene is so romantic. I just love how they're sitting together outside in the grass looking at books. It's the type of scene I'd expect to see of a couple in a park. Such a lovely scene *romantic sigh*

*cough* *blinks* o_O.....O_o....o_O???? Uh, I think this is pretty self-explanatory. *moves on to next award*

Hyo-rin you evil *bleep* (and other words I shouldn't say because who knows what kiddies are reading this?). First you ruin one of the hottest moments of this show and you pretend to be friends with Chae-gyung? Even Kang-in kinda seems to realize how stupid she's being, and he's the leader of the monkey trio! So uh, if Hyo-rin comes up to you and asks why her house has toilet paper all over it...say the squirrels did it. Yea, I think that works *cough*
Overall thoughts: So what have we learned? Always keep a bottle of mouthwash next to you to prevent cavities and a roll of toilet paper--I mean uh...uh...Ah screw it. The toilet paper is for pulling pranks on Hyo-rin. Throw in some shaving cream too. Anyways, I'm off to gurgle some Listerine.
