episode 6

The sweetest scene of this episode has definitely got to be the infamous "Cinderella scene". I just loved the way Shin picked up the shoe and put it back on Chae-gyung's foot himself. Doesn't get better than that does it? The runner up goes to Shin teaching Chae-gyung ancient palace golf. I just thought it was really nice of him to be teaching her himself, even a little hands on experience too wink, wink

I just love Chae-gyung's palace maidens to death. They're just so cute and adorable! ^_^ It was so cute the way they cheered her on during the mini golf match: "Bingoong mama! Fighting~! Fighting~!" The other cutest moment goes to Chae-gyung teaching Yul how to get out of PE. The ways her eyes are bugging out and her saying ya just gotta bear with the pain was all too perfect. Could seriously get cavities from all the cute scenes with Chae-gyung in them.

So who laughed really hard at this scene? I think this dance will spread far and wide at every single party in the world, cuz hey, if the princess is doing it, why can't we? Those moves will collectively be called "the Bin-goong mama" and will be placed in the dancing hall of fame next to the Electric Slide and those arm movements you do during the Village People's "YMCA" song. I also cracked up when Chae-gyung's body guards went after her friends when she visited them at school. They were just flailing around while they were putting them in these death holds...hahaha

I felt really bad for Yul when he was talking to Chae-gyung and all she could talk about was how worried she was about Shin. I mean, I'm glad she is concerned about her husband because I am a Shin supporter, but at the same time I can't help but feel for Yul who has to endure this kind of pain from the woman he loves.

I really loved the moment where Shin just stops dead in his tracks and has that "I never noticed how beautiful she is" look. *girly sigh* It's about time too. In the manhwa you could see his feelings like that, but the drama is squeezing this out little by little that I could seriously go Ninja on the writers at one point or another....*gets shifty eyes*

Yul was cute enough trying spicy rice cakes for the first time, even more so when he was learning slang from CG and her friends. But the reflection move, that's like... OMG look how cute and adorable Yul is! That pout! I mean, his smile is killer, but who knew a guy's pouting face could be so...so...!!!!!! (exclamation marks are all I can say ^^;).

So, now that we've gotten into the meatier part of the show, I decided to add an extra award. I present to you, the "Most Romantic Moment" Award! The scene where Chae-gyung hugs him from behind had the right mood and I think the first time in the show where anything serious is seen between the two. You can literally feel the emotions flowing out of Chae-gyung as she has her hands glued to his body. Too bad Shin took them off (slowly mind you) and ruined the mood. >>;

This moment is just like that moment in episode 2 where Shin is leaning into Chae-gyung ever so closely and being all intimidating. Augh...so hot. Man. WHERE THE HECK IS THAT PERSONALIZED CUPID JUST FOR SHIN AND CHAE-GYUNG WHO'S SUPPOSED TO PUSH SHIN INTO A SWEET KISS WITH CHAE-GYUNG? HUH??? WHERE???

Ok, so...what's with that outfit? I know some of you probably think that it's really cute and pretty, but I sure don't. It's just...look at it. I wouldn't be caught dead wearing that. Especially that hat thing. It would probably work with some other outfit, but that dress is just too horrendous. I didn't really like the dress she wore to the party either, but I thought it was better than this pink whatever thingy. Should've had her wear that hybrid dress she wore at Shin's birthday party, or something like it. Now that dress was gorgeous

Friggin A. Hyo-rin really knows how to get under my skin. What is the deal with her 'I can't accept that girl being a princess' spiel? She keeps saying things that she has no right to say. Like, whose fault do you think it is that she's on the throne and not someone else? Hyo-rin, you really need to chug some sewage and chase it down with some biological oxygen demand pollutants....uh, somehow I think my global environment midterm found its way here. Sorry.
Overall thoughts: I really liked this episode because it brought up some action between Shin and Chae-gyung. I must admit I'm a little peeved with the way the writers haven't really been showing Shin's feelings towards Chae-gyung as much as it's done in the manhwa, but when they do show those moments they are definitely more than satisfying. I think this episode has to be my second favorite after episode 7 so far (only been 8 eps too so far).
