Before I do anything, I'd like to start off with a delightful little quote from our beloved Web Mistress
Apple (we're talking about Kim Jung Hoon aka Yul):

Apple: oh my god, his SMILE
Apple: just light up a damn room, why don't you?!?!?!?!?!

Ah...the power that is Goong. ^_^v

episode 4

As much as I hate Yul's mother, I gotta say, Yul looked so sweet when he was talking to her on the phone. I thought he looked so cute when his face lighted up after hearing that his mother would be coming to Korea soon. It's so sweet to see a loving relationship between the two, despite the fact that his mother is an evil little *****

Aw, look how cute. That teddy bear and Shin combination is pure genius. It shows that Shin has an innocent and childish side to him, and I love how he doesn't even hide it from Chae-gyung. He's always openly playing with it, and that moment when he's sitting on the bench and makes that biting motion with the bears is just too cute! My cutest moment runner up had to be when Chae-gyung thought that the man servant was a eunuch.

"Nessi? *teehee* Udduhkke? *giggle*"

I thought it was so funny and cute when she buried her face in her hand. But dear, you should really get your head out of the gutter. Guess this is one of the few signs we see of perverted Chae-gyung ^_^

I laughed so hard when Chae-gyung kept saying "conceited conceited conceited!" When Shin wasn't listening and who when he asked her what she was doing she just fanned herself and was like 'oh nothing'. Hahahahaha

Poor Chae-gyung. She's got nobody to be with in the palace and on top of that her own husband is taking phone calls with that witch right in front of her. But I guess she has to bear with the pain a little longer because this stage is needed before she can throw herself in Shin's arms and have Shin get his body guards to go kungfu on Hyo-rin. No pain no gain right?

Oh...my...god. Shin...all...sweaty. O_O *passes out* *gets up again and fans self* Oh my, oh my. I mean...just look!!! He is too hot for words. That's all I gotta say. This scene should pretty much explain why I picked this as the Best Shin moment. If you don't see it...well...I...you........LOOK AT HIM!!! *points frantically and flails arms*

There seriously is no end to Yul's adorable hotness. This scene wins best Yul because he just stands there with his finger still out still trying to comprehend what Chae-gyung was doing and then her friends are making kissy faces at him, so he acts nonchalant and pretends his finger is out to scratch his head. Oh Yul, you're just too cute

*sigh* I live for those moments where the guy takes the girl by the arm and drags her out. Course this isn't quite the same, but it's still hot no? *gets dreamy eyes and fantasizes about other situations where Shin drags Chae-gyung out in a heat of loving passion....*

Ok so, wtf is up with Hyo-rin? Her facial expression as she watched the wedding on TV was total death glare. Uh, hello??? You're the one who refused to get married and pursue your "dream", why the heck are you getting so psychotic? And smart move refusing to go to ballet school. You screwed yourself dear. And ballet teacher seriously needs English lessons. I cringed every time I listen to her try to speak. And is it just me, or do the people who are actually supposed to be able to speak English well sound funky too? wtf

Ok, so watching this scene made me really mad. Seriously, like what the hell is going through Hyo-rin's mind? 'You'll regret not waiting for me'? 'You'll still play with me right?'???? What the freak!? Hyo-rin has no right to be saying those things to Shin, especially since he's a MARRIED MAN. She's basically saying that she wants to be his mistress. I really would have respected Hyo-rin a lot if she gave up a man to pursue her dream, but instead she threw any chances of that into the trash bin. So Hyo-rin my dear *cough*, you deserve to be smacked silly >(

Overall Thoughts: I really liked this episode, despite all the Naruto style ninja fighting I'd do to Hyo-rin (grrrr....). There were so many cute moments, it was so hard for me to choose. Like how Chae-gyung bit the tub faucet to see if it was real gold or not or how she was giving the peace sign to all those cameras when she got out of the car at school. I also like how the king is really warm and accepting her into the family in the drama rather than the way he is in the manhwa. Definitely a good ep, but I know it's about time to see some Shin-CG loving. Goong Fighting!
