episode 22

Hah! Didn't see this coming did you? Hehe. Well, I for one thought it was pretty nice for Kang-in to tell Jang-kyung not to get his heart broken. Although Kang-in pretty much knows it's pointless, he's still a good friend. It's like that "*sigh* whaddya gonna do" type of feeling.

Even in Chae-gyung's families imaginations Yul is such a sweet angel. I suppose it must be a family thing for the men of the Shin family to take on all the chores and wear girly aprons while cooking xD. Although, I'm not exactly sure how her family perceived Yul to be so nice because I don't really recall too many moments where her family interacted with Yul except for that time where CG's mom was hawking insurance to Evil Psycho Crazy as Hell %*^@! and Yul promised her he would get insurance from her. Speaking of who, can you imagine what that %*^@! would say if she saw her son serving a commoner's family hand and foot? Puahahaha. Now I _really_ want him to marry Kang-hyun and not some rich stiff just to screw over his mom...

Yea yea, I know I'm not the biggest Jang-kyung supporter, but let's face it. Dude's funny. Besides the fact that he's basically been the only choice these past few eps, but his goofiness has grown on me. And I just loooooove how Kang-hyung is just ignoring him. She's like the poster child of feminism. W00t. And the whole "common duck" thing is pure gold. It's good to know that Koreans recognize their own recycled drama elements. And nothing beats Hee-song telling Jang-kyung that she'd dial his number a million times a day. That's like something I'd do....

Didn't your heart just break when Chae-gyung thought that Shin had finally come to see her? Symptom of being head over heels in love: you start having hallucinations that your dream man has come to rescue you. *note: if you haven't eaten or slept for several hours symptoms may become worse. I wouldn't say I have hallucinations per se, but I have had tons of fantasies. Does that count? Erm...so anyways, yea that was pretty sad. Yup. But what up with her and getting all pms-y with Shin? Uh yea...he didn't come to see you, but you knew he was mad at you and you knew why because you were being a stupid girly girl. Get over it. You should be glad he wants to take you in the first place. Tsk tsk

I think it's actually pretty good of Shin that despite all his spiffs with Chae-gyung, he sticks up for her no matter what in front of his parents. And despite the fact that he was still angry with her here, he didn't just brush off her text message but rushed off to see what's wrong. I knew personalized cupid would finally hit the arrow right. Or maybe cupid did hit Shin with the arrow, but it's one of those slow acting poisons--I mean uh...one of those slow acting _potions_. Yea. *cough* Love isn't a death trap. Nope. No way. You're _totally_ not signing your life away if you commit. I promise....yea that'll stick...

Ok so. I'm pretty much tired of analyzing Yul's character. I've gone over time and again about how much I wanna shoot In Eun-ha in the head for screwing up the writing, especially for how she messed up Yul. So I'm just gonna fangirl from here on out. Unless of course Goong2 does a better job of it. So anyways, what's better than good Yul? Angsty Yul. Just LOOK at him. What a broody brood. I just wanna....um...make out with him? Aish, just too hot. *_*

Now WHY did this not happen in the actual show? I'm pretty sure Shin and CG's nonsense would pretty much come to an end if CG had just walked in on him wearing her shoes. Notice that not once has she found out about that? And I'm pretty sure that this would all lead up to a hot make-out session.
Shin: Why did you come here?
Chae-gyung: I just wanted to...hey, aren't those...
Shin (being bashful): yea...
Chae-gyung: O_O
And this is the part where they start making out. Let your imaginations fly. Go on. *waves hands* Come back in five minutes when you're done ok? No need for your brains to melt from all the hot passion.

So usually right before a hot moment (and yes that includes all hypothetical hot moments) there is usually a very romantic moment. Ok maybe not in most x-rated films, but the nice stuff that's actually out there (yea I know, you prolly have to go hunting, but trust me it's there) has some pretty gushy mushy scenes. Don't you just love it when lovers have some sort of memento from their partners? And this ties nicely back to episode 5(?) at his b-day party. Very nice *nod nod*

What the hell? Your nephew falls in love with your daughter in law and you expect your son to be able to fix it??? Like, everybody else in your family said there was nothing he could do, why the heck do you still insist that it's all his fault? And uh...are you forgetting you're guilty of THE EXACT SAME THING? What happened to that sweet father that was around in the first couple of episodes? Oh yea, I forgot evil psycho %*^@! cast a spell on him. My bad.
About Chae-gyung crying: so um...yea, you're entitled to cry. But don't just SIT there and not answer Halmama's question. It makes it look like you DO have feelings for Yul. Can't you like say something along the lines of: *sniff*I*sniff*don't*like*Yul*sniff*at*sniff*all*sniff*just Shin*sniff* *blows snot into a tissue*

What a _bad_ mother. She raised her son to be a little brat! She should be reported to child services for her bad parenting skills. And her hair ornaments are _still_ fugly. But I guess it's part of the trade. Ever notice evil villains have the _tackiest_ costumes? Yea, flip through a few comic books, you'll see what I mean
Overall thoughts: meh. Yup. That's it. Meh.
