episode 21

This may not have been the best sweet moment out of the entire series, but I thought that it was really endearing for Chae-gyung to plead with the king to treat Shin with more kindness. I kinda thought that the king gave her a bull answer though, what with the "I can't ignore the mistakes" blah blah blah whatever. Your kids make mistakes, but that doesn't mean you go show favoritism to their cousin or just act like they make the biggest mistakes all the time. >p

My mouth widened into this huge smile when I saw good ol' granny trying to be hip and cool by trying out some slang. "Uhl--Uhljjang". Teehee. She's awesome. And I guess Kang-In and the rest of them aren't so bad anymore since they seem to be hanging out with CG's friends and stuff. Kang-in actually looks kinda cute with Hee-soong. Although I wish for Kang-in + Hyo-rin, Kang-in + Hee-soong doesn't look too shabby either. And knowing Hee-soong, she'll probably take the initiative. You all saw how she threw herself onto Yul right? Yea...and I'm pretty sure Kang-in can't refuse her since he thinks she's so funny.

Dear Soon-young: those were my sentiments exactly. *barf* Enclosed is a bag of my vomit as proof.
Love, theed :D
Man, I need to make a gif of Jang-kyung running towards Kang-hyung. That was too funny. It's sorta like those Irish dancers. Y'know, where their legs seem to flail about independently as if they were attached to the head. That's how Jang-kyung was cuz like his focus did not move at all. *looks up tutorials for making animated movies*

T_T Stupid Chae-gyung. Look and see what you did. You made the hottest prince on earth cry. I hope you're proud of yourself. And if I were you, don't go outside cuz there's an angry mob waiting to slap you with "I became a princess and all I got was this shirt that says I'm stupid" memorabilia (sp?). And poor Hwang-hu mama. She has to share a bed with that jerk. I felt so bad for her when she poured her heart out to her husband and he said nothing. What an @$$. The least he could do is get her a bouquet of flowers.

You gotta love Shin at this point. He's getting better at saying stuff, and heck he's finally confessed to Chae-gyung that his feelings for her are true. And despite all the trampling she did on him this ep, he _still_ sticks up for her and covers for her butt. *sigh*

Well, not exactly _the_ best Yul moment, but what's a girl to do? Anyways, what Yul said is _sorta_ what I wanted Yul to be doing all along: calling Shin on his faults. If Yul really loves Chae-gyung, he shouldn't be trying to get her for himself, he should be working for her happiness by fixing the stuff that's making her unhappy. Mainly helping Shin with his relationship with Chae-gyung. And that's sorta what Yul did here, but you all know that wasn't quite it. Ah well. Oh and btw, is it just me or does Yul have a really nice wardrobe in this ep compared to the rest? You guys all know I'm a sucker for suits, so when Yul was in that white jacket + red shirt getup *_*....excuse me I need to go fan myself for a moment. BRB

Ok, I ish back. So um...there weren't any hot moments in this episode. All we got was this stupid insert pic. And to that I say: TEASE! Yea, so where are all the promo pics of YEH and JJH in similar kinds of poses? There's only like one pic, and it wasn't even that hot. And then we get this, but it's only an insert pic! Blah. MBC, you guys suck. If you're going to make it an insert pic, you might as well put it in the actual episode so that we all have something to gnaw on after being pulled through all this dragginess. Go DIE. :D

My heart melted when I saw Shin going through the pics he took of Chae-gyung from their beach trip in ep16. It just shows how much he's grown to love her. It's too bad he can't exactly share it with her, since she _does_ need to learn her lesson and fix her mistakes. But UGH! Look how sad he looks! *throws teddy bears and chocolates at him* Be happy dangit! >=(

There was only one time where I approved of the traditional attire that Chae-gyung wore, and that was the elaborate hanbok she wore during the hapbang scene (and even then I do NOT like how they did her hair, which is funny b/c I didn't like her wedding gown, but I loved how they did her hair). This hanbok however, is rather nice and doesn't make her look really fat, unlike those oversized royal hanbok they've made her wear before along with the rest of the royal women. But I highly doubt the wardrobe department made this hanbok. They probably just had someone buy it out of a nice store. Which if you ask me is pretty stupid, because if regular stores sell these nice, perfectly cut hanbok, why couldn't the wardrobe department do the same? I mean the ones used in the show are CUSTOM made. Is it so hard to ask for form fitting hanbok and better jewelry/hair? [/rant] =/

Go DIE already. You've been sick enough, and thank goodness they actually _remembered_ that fact in this episode. This dude is a hypocritical jerk and there's a reason why he shouldn't have inherited the throne in the first place. He's just as bad as Chae-gyung when it comes to letting his emotions get the better of him, yet he's the one getting mad at her. I'm just so glad that Hwang-hu mama told him straight up that he's being stupid about the entire Crown Prince affair and of his harsh treatment of his daughter in law. Dude either needs to die real soon or Hwang-hu mama needs to take matters in her own hands and get some golf clubs and jab him in the knees. Which shouldn't be hard to do because people of their status play golf right? And like I heard golf is big in Korea, so like she could just borrow some clubs from Gong Nessi or somebody...
Overall thoughts: geh, another draggy fillerish episode that doesn't really contribute that much to the plot. Just get things over already! But I guess we've finally seen some progress in Shin since he clearly stated to Chae-gyung how he feels about her. But still. Bleh. I've done enough ranting for today. I think I'll go start on making that Jang-kyung stupidly in love gif...man, that still freakin cracks me up.
