episode 15

Didn't you all just gush over this scene? Wasn't it the bestest when they were both sitting under the stars and Shin told her about how if they were to be reborn again in 2500 years that he would want to see her again? And didn't you just savor the moment when they were trying to throw rocks at each other?...wait, that doesn't sound right...people must think we're crazy if we think it's cute for a couple to be throwing rocks at each other, ah well. *shrugs* It must be the new thing y'know? Like...long walks on the beach, followed by picnics in the park, then staring at the stars, finished off with a little rock throwing. Romantic ne?

Two words: SEHSOHN WANTED. >=DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
I just love those little Shin/CG moments. Wasn't it so adorable when CG sat down on Shin's bed and stuck her legs on top of his? It's like they're so comfortable with each other when they're not thinking about all the drama. And I loved that hula-hooping scene. It's so cute CG made her palace maidens do it too. Never thought hula-hooping was a form of losing weight. And I thought it was cute how she told Shin it's better off for him because then they'd look better as a couple. It's such an "Awwww" moment.

OMG this soooooooooo came out of nowhere! I swear, I was laughing so hard partly because this was just so random! I was missing this kind of humor from the earlier episodes. It feels like things have gotten so serious and the writers are forgetting what made the show so good in the first place, and so it's like "Hey wait, let's do this!" Which I'm glad they did, for once I'm ok with the writing (cuz frankly they're sucking a lot lately). And like what's up with CG's dad spanking her little brother? That was so weird...funny, but weird...Oh! Oh! Don't you think CG and Shin looked really sexy in those shots???? I'm like drooling here. This could've been such a hot moment since it's so kinky, but it's just too funny man.

My heart really goes out to Hwang-hu mama. How can the king be so insensitive? He's in his son's room talking with that witch when he knows the entire family is there. And even though she married him because of an arranged marriage, you can tell she truly cares for him. She's got so much on her plate right now, I'm surprised she hasn't broken down yet. Way to go. I hope she does something to the king and Tae-hu mama. The both deserve a swift kick in the ***

I thought this was so romantic when Shin decided to take CG away to see the sun rise and how he thought it was cool that she said a phrase from Gone With the Wind without ever having seen the movie. And I love how Shin showed up when Yul was talking to CG and asked him if he could take his wife back. Yul really needs to be reminded of who's wife CG is. *clings to Shin body pillow*

Yes, that's right. There's no best Yul for this episode. I tried, I really really tried. But I found nothing. Yul was just so whack for this episode. Ugh, I hate those effing writers. I mean, I'd be fine with how Yul is now if they made him that way from the beginning because that is how he's portrayed in the manhwa. But they didn't do that, they made him nice and now he's all twisted and evil. Like, wth did all this political talk come from? I mean I know he's gotten all this from his mother, but I mean he's usually more self-controlled over what he says. Aigoo aigoo~ *readys a catapult with distance capacities to MBC buildings in Korea and grabs some rotten eggs*

Hehe, sweet. A public kiss for _everyone_ to see. Now if only they were in private, I'm pretty sure that kiss would've turned into a hicky(sp?). And like, CG is walking around the palace and Halamama sees it and asks her about it and then CG blushes and runs off and then Halamama giggles to herself and thinks "ah, the magic of the hapbang". Puehehehehehehehe /me has a pervy mind

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!! KODAK MOMENT!!! *Grabs camera and hides behind the trees* Like, I wish some guy would hug me like that! Preferably this guy in one of my classes, but he doesn't know I like him and like......*girly sigh*(and Apple, don't you say ANYTHING!!!)
WTF Announcement:Ok guys, I have a lot of WTFs to go over, so I'm just going to break them down one by one instead of one mass commentary. Cuz frankly I don't want to confuse you and make your face go like this: @_@

This woman is such a retard I don't even know where to begin. She needs to own love? 9_9 Her entire love theory is total whack. And btw she looks fugly in that outfit. She has this thing for hats and like she is soooooo not working that hat.

Ok so...it's pretty obvious the late king kicked her out. And according to the translations she was never supposed to come back. So...wtf? What the heck is she doing back at the palace? And since Gong Nessi was there, how come he never told Debi-mama about it? I mean, if the king didn't want him to tell her, sure fine. But if this woman just shows up again, shouldn't he say something? Unless Gong Nessi knows something we all don't know. My my this has become quite interesting hasn't it?

Um....Yul dear, what the heck are you talking about? It's like this all this political stuff busted out of nowhere. And it's making you sound reaaaallly Darth Sidius-like. Um, let's try not to be too power hungry, mmkay?

WTF is it with them and not communicating???? You two are alone. There are no disruptions. So TALK ALREADY!!!! I hate these effing writers. Stop dragging this out so long! GAH!!!!!!!

WTF. Since when did I ever agree with that wh*re???? Yea, Shin shouldn't have punched Yul (though I understand why he did), but what the hell? It's like the world is turned upside down. I feel so bad for Shin's mom having to take the heat. This is like one of those situations where you want to disagree even though you know they're right. >(

And they just keep slapping on more sob stories don't they? 9_9 Honestly, Hyo-rin was much more respectable when she wasn't poor and had a hardworking mother who ends up in the hospital once in a while. What's next? A drunken father? A dog with only three legs that plays with a dirty rag doll named Young-mee?????

To take some words from Mulan's grandmother: Who spit in his bean curd this morning? Seriously though, Shin's father has some nerve. He goes around gallivanting with Yul's mother and he doesn't even consider the fact that Shin may have a perfectly logical explanation, such as someone trying to steal his wife. It's like in his eyes anything Shin does is bad and he's a total disappointment. Someone needs to punch him to remind him who _his_ son is and that they used to have a good relationship.

It's scenes like these that make me love Shin's mom even more. She's such an admirable woman. The way she told Yul to get a reality check was really classy and not demeaning, the way I know one woman would have done. And you can tell there's no real animosity that Shin's mom feels towards Yul, she just wants to get along. And coming from her own situation, she probably understands the frustration Yul is going through with his feeling for CG. Also, I loved how CG clarified the people's view of the royal family to Shin. Being in that palace the entire time kind of pulls people from reality, but since CG is there she's able to tie things back. This is why I think CG shouldn't leave the palace because she's just what the royal family needs
Overall thoughts: The fact that I have 6 wtfs to go through just shows how bad the writing for this show has gotten (and I threw out a couple of other things too). Don't worry though, I still like the show enough, but it certainly hasn't earned a spot on my favorites list. I just hope the writers get their act together. Actually, this doesn't apply to just Goong, but to any k-drama. K-dramas tend to drag towards the middle and the end of the show, and it's typically because the two main character never say anything to each other. Why can't they just TALK???? I think the only K-drama I've ever seen where the two main characters actually got together in the middle and there was no ensuing drama afterwards was Sweet18. *sigh* It's just not fair. And I'm really not liking how Yul is turning out. What happened to that sweet boy who gave out forerro roche chocolates?
