episode 1

There weren't that many "sweet" scenes in this ep. But for me, the sweetest moment of this episode was when Chae-gyung saw Shin proposing to Hyo-rin and she felt so sad for him when he got rejected. This is probably when she started getting attracted to him in earnest, not as just some fangirl that daydreams about him kissing her (tho who could blame her?). At this point tho, the attraction is very subtle so that she doesn't even notice it.

Who doesn't love the scene where her parents are jumping for joy out of the prospected marriage, but Chae-gyung doesn't even know? She looks so adorable with that "What's goin on?" look on her face. She looks even more adorable when she's throwing her arms, but it's like "ok...." Hehe, CG's too cute ^_^

Ok, so I actually was deciding b/n two scenes for this award: this one and the scene where CG's debating with herself whether or not to get married and her family's changing reactions behind her. But thanks to Jess aka Silent J, I decided to go with this scene. This scene was just too hilarious. Her friends are so funny when they're going all gaga for Shin, so I couldn't help but burst out when they were fighting over Shin's shoes and they don't even notice that Chae-gyung just takes them and walks off. She doesn't even act like it's nothing. Her friends' reactions were so funny too, they were like "...huh? What just happened?" O_o???

So this episode didn't have anything too depressing, but I had to pick something and actually when you think about it, it actually is pretty sad. I went with Shin's grandmother finding out how sick the king is. It's so sad when someone finds out that someone they love is dying, especially for a mother and her son. And this is especially so for Shin's grandmother because she's already lost her first son and her husband, how could she part with her second child? Too sad ;_;

Yes, yes I know. How can you possibly pick what's the best Shin moment? All of them are perfect! Well, personally I agree, but these are awards you see and with awards you have to pick one, so I did. But let me tell ya, it was difficult. *sigh* Poor me....*anyways* I think the best Shin moment of this ep was when he found out the girl he's going to marry is CG. Haha, those eyes bugging out were so funny ^.^

Picking out the Best Yul wasn't too hard this episode because they only showed him for this one scene. Thankfully I didn't have to debate back and forth like I had to do for Shin ^.^ But if you ask me, even if they did have different Yul scenes, I think I still would've picked this one. Honestly, how can you not say a sleeping Yul isn't perfect? Now, the only matter left is to figure out how to switch places with that book. .....what? A Shin camper can't dream about Yul too?

Admit it guys. When you watch dramas, you've gotta see some action. I personally squeal like a little girl for these moments. So this episode's Hottest Moment goes to Shin confronting CG in the alleyway. Augh. She's so friggin lucky to have his finger on her lips. And Shin looks so irresistible standing so close to her and with that intimidating demeanor...so hawt *drools*

What's a WTF moment you say? Well, basically...it's anything that makes you go "WTF?" Hehe, simple no? So this episode's WTF moment goes to Hyo-rin running into CG and just brushing her off like she's a piece of scum. WTF? Like seriously Hyo-rin, do you think you're superior to others or something? I've got one word for you babe: RUDE! Someone needs to throw paint on her or something

This little beauty here is devoted to those who deserved a nice knuckle sandwich. I was gonna give it to Hyo-rin, but I think Yul's mom needs it more to get her off her "We were robbed" mentality. Little bitter ain'tcha? Y'know, I'd prolly like Yul a lot more if he wasn't poisoned by his mother's evil, twisted ideas. This woman deserves a good sock in the face, immediately. Time to go Naruto, no?
Overall Thoughts: This episode was a very good one if you ask me. So many good things about it, and these awards don't even cover everything that goes on in this show.
Like how Chae-gyung went to the palace to help save her family from those stupid loan sharks. This episode was actually really good because it shows you how loyal they stayed to the manhwa. Yea, they changed some stuff, but they're not butchering it or anything. Also, the cinematography is awesome. I can't get over all the beautiful colors and costumes they're using for this drama. Oh yea and hot guys--I mean uh....good casting? Yea, gotta love the casting directors...
