episode 8

Hmm...no boohoohoo sad moments in this episode, so I'm just gonna skip this award entirely and go to the sweetest moment. Hope y'all aren't disappointed. If you are, you're way too depressed for your own good. After all this is a comedy. If you want depression...go get professional help. :D

So we finally see the root of Chul-soo's money grubbing ways. Although it was kinda obvious from the start, it's still nice to know for sure that there's a reason for it and not just him being stingy. And I'm actually a little relieved that he already has money on his own. Although I am THE biggest sucker for cinderella stories, it tends to get overused in dramas, and I'm sure people thought "oh hey, male cinderella, something FRESH!", but eh I'm not to hyped up about that anymore.

Man, you gotta love all the quirks that the Hong sisters put into Sang-shil's character. Besides "ggohrajihagonoon" and jjajangmyun, Sang-shil boils down to just one thing: plasters. I loved how after she gave up trying to give him hot/cold rags, she just resorted to smothering him up with plasters. And I just love how even though he was about to take em all off, he just pulled down his sleeves and left them on. Such an "awwwwwwwww how kyute!!!!!" moment =^_^= And going back to what Sang-shil boils down to, seeing her get all worked up only to be able to mouth "ggohrajihagonoon" to herself was awesome. Would've sworn that she was about to jump up and just TEAR the place down, but nope. Eh well still loved that scene anyways. And that whole heart beat lub dub stuff was funny. At least we all know she got it out of her system when she left Chul-soo in the private movie room. Although I wouldn't exactly recommend that to anybody to vent steam...a girl could lose an ear that way.

HAHAHAHAHAHHAAH. HEAD BUTT!!!! See the rage? See the anger and frustration? Sang-shil got soooooo worked up the night before when it was pouring and she wanted to go out andd search for him and then the next day by combing the harbor. And when she found out that it all amounted to just him standing there, what does she do? No, she does run up to him and hug him, no she doesn't just lay a big wet one on him. SHE HEAD BUTTS HIM. PUAHAHAHAHAHHAA. Man, I need that pre-head butt expression of Sang-shil's on a coffee mug or something. With a caption beneath it goin "don't mess with texas" or something.

There really wasn't anything great about OJH that they focused on in this ep. So I just took a cap of his BEAUTIFUL GORGEOUS GREEK GOD-LIKE OH SO DECLIOUS SMILE of his. And OH.MY.GAWD. His dimples! I could just sit here and stare at his dimples all day. Oh yes I could. *_*

Ok, you probably thought I was gonna pick the scene where Sang-shil is fighting that never ending battle against those primal bodily urges as Chul-soo was practically throwing himself at her in his sleep while they were in the movie room. Hehe. But nope, decided to go with this moment instead. I just had to since this had the both of them actually feeling sparks rather than having just ONE of them getting really really....worked up *whistles as she refrains from using another word* Gotta really hand it to Kang-ja. It's almost as if she KNEW something like that was gonna happen if she stuck that flower in Sang-shil's hair.

One thing I absolutely enjoy about Sang-shil and Chul-soo's relationship is how child-like they can get with each other. I would've loved this moment even more if he actually caught up to her and grabbed her and just twirled her around. Eh, I guess I can just imagine it happening. *takes five minutes to think about it* whistles doo doo doo doo doo

I honestly hope Leonardo DeCRAPrio (yea, that's right I SAID CRAP =P) doesn't see this series just for the sole reason of him not having to sit there and have people think that in the Fantasy Couple world he'd take Billy's english _seriously_. It's a good thing it's a scene that doesn't involve Anna because I'm sure Han Ye Seul would not be able to contain herself. You could tell Kim Sung-min was _really_ struggling to pronounce things perfectly. If it weren't for Sang-shil's head butt at the beginning of the episode, I would've made this funniest moment.

O_o....O-kay who the eff does this? The dude is obviously so sick that he can't come to the door to make you feel like you've accomplished your good deed for the day, so you POUND on the door? And not just that, she called his cell phone, kicked his door and yelled his name over and over again. I'm gonna take a liberty right now and say that Yoo-gyung's little temper tantrum right here tops her ditching the kids in episode 6. If this doesn't show how immature she is I have no idea what will. I mean Joon-suk knew well enough to leave Chul-soo alone so that he could get some rest and even locked the door so that the other two couldn't get in. Just shows what age bracket Yoo-gyung is in right? *gives 5 bucks to Joon-suk*

Ok, who saw THAT coming? As predictable as the Hong sisters can be, this came out of freakin nowhere. Since Mong-ryong's parents didn't appear in this drama like they did in My Girl I was of the mindset that they wouldn't create another side couple, but whaddya know they did! And (spoiler here) you can't really notice til later on, and even I didn't know (cuz I didn't watch the drama) but you can totally see the beginnings of their Autumn tale parody. The whole school uniform plus them not having seen each other since they were kids is total *cough*hint!*cough*. Maybe the Hong sisters were playing homage to Han Chae-young since she starred in their first drama? Eh whatever. Oh, and once _again_ they used that god awful toilet humor. I really just wanted to jump into my screen and spray disinfectant all over Duk-gu's mom when she had her hands all OVER Gong Shil-jang after she JUST relieved herself in the bushes. >_<# Ugh GAG me why doncha? (I'm a germaphobe if you couldn't tell).

Overall thoughts: Gawd I loved this episode. Except for those couple minutes of utter PAIN AND DESPAIR that is Yoo-gyung, it was freakin awesome. There were so many great Chul-soo and Sang-shil moments in here. Loved how Sang-shil was so antsy towards the end when she saw Chul-soo coming up to her and I loved how Chul-soo figured out where Sang-shil was based on all those angry people storming by him. Lol never thought you could piss off that many people in one night. There were also so many funny moments that I really didn't get a chance to talk about. Like that whole fantasy sequence Sang-shil went through trying to see what connection she had with all those different countries. Anyone notice that golden frog during that France sequence? Would've been funny if she kissed it. Also, I laughed a lot hearing Han Ye-seul yodeling. I think it's the fact that she didn't konglish it up like you KNOW other korean actors would do that it just sounded so funny that she was yodeling WELL you know? And although I normally skip out on talking about Billy because his spiel is just waaaaay too repetitive, you gotta give props to Kim Sung-min for being able to pull off his goofy character. Case in point, I lol-ed when Gong Shil-jang told him Anna came to the golf resort and he just drops his cell and just RUNS for it.
