episode 7

Yea, this ain't "boohoo" sad, this is "hahaha how sad is that?" sad. I just thought it was funny how year after year Billy went in and tried to get Anna a suitable anniversary gift. It just shows how Billy never got Anna. Oh, and what's even worse is how Anna just refused that necklace. Like dude, take the dern thing, you know how much it's worth, you can exchange it! Or turn it into a collar for princess. I dunno, sumthin'.

I _really_ like how Chul-soo always kept in mind that jjajangmyun was the first thing Sang-shil ever made. Even though Sang-shil was a bit ticked off that he left and threatened to eat his share, she still left it out for him and he didn't disregard that. I really loved that little smile that crossed Sang-shil's face when she knew Chul-soo was eating her noodles no matter what. *sigh* I heart <3.

This was my _favorite_ scene out of the entire episode. Loved how when Chul-soo stormed out of the restaurant he walks up to Sang-shil and goes "Sang-shil, you -- you!" and just doesn't have any words to say to her. Beautiful. The best part of this all was how all three boys picked up Sang-shil's habits. Gawd, I thought I was ready to explode into a big pile of fluffy pink cotton candy when the 2nd oldest boy said "kkohrajihagonoon". And then when Sang-shil just walks off after telling Chul-soo there's nothing wrong with saying what you feel and the boys go "yay!!!! jjajangmyun!!!!". *_* Ahhhhhh those Hong sisters really know how to getto your warm gooey sugary sweet insides. Bring on the cavities.

I dunno why, but when I saw Han Ye-seul in that black dress, I immediately though of vampires. I mean, it's not like in any of those sequences she bit anybody's neck and sucked their blood. But whatev. I guess it's because she was in Nine Tailed Fox, course vampires aren't foxes...so I dunno. ...anywho, just thought it was funny how Billy thought he'd get buried alive (pitchforks and torches and all) if Anna got her memory back, but Chul-soo was worried she never recover her memories. It would've been extra funny if they showed all three nephews all grown up and she's abusing them about how Chul-soo just up and died on her. Speaking of Anna's abuse, her telling Billy that he was not in the will at all was pure genius. Not just for the logistics of making sure he'd never kill her for money, but the laugh factor was oh too good. Billy just pleading with the tv with her huge head just dismissing everything off. It would've bene pure gold if instead of her money going to charities, if she said it was going to Princess.

Gawd. This man. He's just soooooooooooooooo !!!!!! for words (yea, that's right. Exclamation marks =P). Oh Ji Ho's expressions all during those beginning scenes were all so cute. Especially how his voice got louder and more desperate as she just stood there being all clueless. I loved how when he tried to get her to remember her driving off with his head in the window, he made little running motions with his feet, but she was in the car and couldn't see it. SO. FRIGGIN. CUTE....AND HOT. CAN'T FORGOT THAT HE'S HOT!....I'M STILL TYPING IN CAPS. I DUNNO WHY. I'LL STOP NOW. :D

Oh, I bet you were ALLLLL thinking I was gonna pick the scene where he grabs onto her when that flour cannon(wtf was that?) went off, but nope I didn't. I just really liked the subtleness of this scene so I had to go with it. I mean he could have just stood behind her and told her to open the door, or he could just went around her and plowed on through. But nope, he just went surrounded her, and for that one brief moment she was in his arms. It's the little moments that make it all I say. *salutes whoever thought for Oh Ji Ho to do that*

Ok, second most favorite scene of this episode. So this isn't like a date or something, and they're not in some whimsical ball room scene or whatnot, but like I said, it's the little things that make it all. Even though it was just jjajang ramyun, the entire moment these two shared together as Sang-shil was learning how to cook was just perfect. Couldn't have asked for anything better.

So...Sang-shil's sweeping dirt. Outside. Who the heck uses a broom outside???? I mean, yea she was cleaning up that mess, but it woulda been more effective if she just picked it up. And we all know she can't be that grossed out by dirt if she buried that camera with her own hands. Eh whatev. They were probably just using it as a device for her to remember something about playing golf. Bad way of doing it, but whatev.

Per Apple's request, here's a special award for y'all: Best Music Moment! I was gonna just quote stuff Apple said to me, but stupid me I closed the chat window >>; So I'll just give you the gist of what's going on. In case none of you noticed, this award goes to how they crescendo-ed the music when Sang-shil turns around and sees Chul-soo at the light house. Beautiful, beautiful editing right there. Totally worked with how the scene was flowing, and helped highlight all the feelings Sang-shil was going through as she was frantically searching for Chul-soo. Apple swears that she was about to jump Chul-soo at that moment, hehe.

Overall thoughts: Ah loved this episode. There was fairly minimal Yoo-gyung coverage, even with her entire "oh my, the man I don't love doesn't want to marry me anymore, I'll just pass out now" spiel. Still lot of Billy stuff though, but at least they didn't have him being all moody for the most part and had him being stressed out about trying not to look bad in front of Anna. And I didn't get a chance to mention it before, but I found the part where Sang-shil's trying to rescue Ggot-soon from being taken away all too hilarious. That entire jump over the patio and remembering all those moents she had with the dog (gawd if they made it into a full blown musical montage I would've been on the floor rolling around laughing), just beautiful. The Hong sisters were really on their game this episode.
