episode 2

I was actually really surprised at how serious they were being with Anna's realization that she isn't the nicest person to be around. You could see it really hit her when her husband told her that she was torturing him, especially when she remembered what Chul-soo said to her at the beginning of the episode before she shoved him over. I never expected Anna to react so badly, and it just shows how good the writing of the Hong sisters is to be able to bring that in, especially for an early episode. It's actually a kind of relief because the first episode was so goofy that I didn't know how exactly they were going to incorporate all the emotion that I've seen in Choon-hyang and My Girl.

I totally didn't think I'd get this award since I forgot about this, but hey whaddya know? Chul-soo's chraracter to me didn't really rub off as the family man type, definitely the fun-luvin uncle who always sneaks you candy though. So it was very nice to see him be so loving and making sure that his nephews are comfortable and all that jazz. And as a side note I laughed my butt off when I saw those money tapestries hanging on his walls. He's got that one and one of a US hundred dollar bill in his room too and I just thought that was too jokes. Even Yoo-rin didn't have any money furniture in My Girl and I honestly think she loved money much more than Chul-soo. xD

See? Didn't I tell you that it wouldn't be long before I started squealing over these little guys? It totally floored me when Chul-soo said he'd keep calling Anna "honey" because it annoyed her and then all three of them ran after her shouting it too! Aigoo aigoo just wanna give each of them a popsicle or something. And I definitely loved the dinner scene. I thought the Hong sisters were going for the "savage family of all males" where'd they just totally make a mess of their dinner. But nope, they were so quiet and clean! Ugh so so cute. Dang, whenever there's a kid in a k-drama I'm _always_ getting cavities, and now here's 3 of them #.@
Ok, I tried. I really really tried. But I just couldn't cut down these down to just one choice, so I went with all three of them. So for those of you who are debating whether or not to see this drama, this is just proof of how good it is since I couldn't pick one over the other. Now my most favorite moment for this award was the whole "this place is a dump" sequence. And the part where she was screaming about finding the bug and the little boys running around trying to hit the roach and the oldest one spraying her was hilarious! And for my second choice, well it's a given. I really really want to hate Billy, but I know he has a right to feel the way he does and want to get a divorce, so he doesn't really deserve to have exploding diarrhea. But at the same time my sympathy doesn't last that long for people I don't really care about....so I'm just going to laugh at his pain: HA! And for the third moment of this award, I couldn't stop laughing! The Hong sisters seem to be masters at parodying other shows and genres, and I guess they're doing the Grudge here? I dunno, I've never actually seen it, but at least it's some scary movie. My favorite part was when the words "let's leave together" was smeared onto the mirror, I dunno why but the fact that they were half heartedly trying to make it creepy really made me bust a gut. And can you imagine the kind of crap they had to rub onto Han Ye-seul to make her look like that? I wanna say strawberry jam or something...but nah they probably use the professional movie stuff. You see I'm low budget like that, so if I were the make-up artist I'd use strawberry jam. Dang it, now I want some toast with jam =s

I just love how Oh Ji Ho totally fits into his role. For some reason I always thought he was one of those "I only do serious/action roles" kind of actors, but ugh I love him even more like this *_* He was so cute when Anna was barking at him about how he smelt and stuff and he just timidly said "sorry..." that I just wanted to hug him. And the way he tried to bite off his pillow, I immediately thought "how kinky" ^^; hehe rawr *makes cat-clawing motions*

I actually was going to use the cap of OJH's face buried into Han Ye-seul's chest, but then I looked at that smug face of his when he "proved" to her that he was her boyfriend and I melted =x Dang why is this man so hawt? I dunno why Anna's so detested by him, most k-drama girls would have at least had a double take on him and mutter to themselves something like "he's pretty cute" no matter how much they dislike him otherwise. But I loved the expression on her face when she heard about the mole (and btw nice tie-in from the beginning of the ep). She was like "omg...did I have sex with him???" and then his face was total "hell yea we did". XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Ok there was nothing too spectacular about the romance in this episode either, so once again I'm gonna have to go on a stretch. I decided that it was the part where he goes back to get Anna because then it's like he's her knight in shining armor who came to save her. But other than that ehhhhhhh. Hopefully things pick up soon, because the preview from episode 3 looked like it would start then. *crosses fingers*

Billy has a sick obsession with his fish. I don't mind having fish as pets, but please do not treat them as if they were a dog or cat. SOLOMON CAN'T RESPOND TO YOU EMOTIONALLY! Heck there's not even soft fur for him to pet. And like, wtf is Billy doing just relenting to the fact that Solomon died? Hello, get him some water! Most fish can survive a little bit out of water, he could've totally saved him! 9_9 what an idiot. And another thing I so don't get is how a lot of shows feature people sitting on the toilet. Like do we _really_ need to see that? I just want to sanitize my eyes with a flame or something whenever they have toilet scenes *wants to barf*
Overall thoughts: Another great episode! Pace is still pretty good and they're developing very nicely. One thing I didn't get to talk about was how Chul-soo took another beating from Anna. I laughed so hard seeing how into it Anna was in pounding him flat. Another thing is that we finally meet Chul-soo's ex-lover. I really wish they didn't create her character, Billy too. This show would've been perfectly fine without the other two members of this love quadrangle. But knowing the Hong sisters, hopefully they won't be a complete nuisance to the show as it progresses. But overall they're quite unnecessary, like to the 100th power compared to Choon-hyang and My Girl.
