episode 10

Agh, how can a show that has been so lighthearted and funny all of a sudden take a turn like this? At any rate this was amazingly well done in light of that fact and just further shows the great writing the Hong sisters are capable of. This was just the right moment and the perfect way to shine light into Anna's past and shows exactly why she's been so lonely and closed up all these years.

Sang-shil to the rescue! *turns on batman music* Has to be one of the most endearing moments in all of K-drama history. I'm just glad the producers didn't ruin this moment by showing the kids blowing chunks all over the house (since we all know how much they love the grotesque >_<). I especially loved how Chul-soo was being very calm about the whole thing so that Sang-shil wouldn't freak out and just walked her through it all. I heart <3 <3 <3. A runner up for this would've been when Chul-soo took Sang-shil out for dinner because he felt bad about giving her jjajangmyun all the time and she suggested that next time they go out to eat they should bring the kids along.

Ahaha you gotta love Han Ye-seul's acting here. My favorite part was when Kang-ja walks up to her and Sang-shil wipes her hair away with the phone in her hand trying to be all subtle about her bragging, and then screams at Chul-soo for getting her a crappier phone than Kang-ja's. Add on extra sugar when she has Kang-ja teaching her how to add numbers to her phone at the foot of that stone wall and then she tries to take Kang-ja's phone and Kang-ja wouldn't let her. Oi oi cavity alert *_*

So sad how Billy just had his arms hanging out there and Sang-shil totally just blew him off. Would've been funny if they showed him just sitting there like that for a couple of hours like when he was proposing to Anna for 100 days. Ah well *moves on*

So I've spent the last oh, 9 awards talking about how HOT and DELICIOUS Oh Ji Ho is. But let's take a step away from that today shall we? His chemistry in acting with the boys is to die for, and actually, that makes him even HOTTER. He probably is like that with kids in real life, which means he'll make a great dad someday. And nothing's hotter than that *_* Plus look how cute Geun-suk is with that stuffed animals. That just adds on 10 more points to how hot Oh Ji Ho already is right there.

KISS HER!!!!! Oh c'mon! Do it!!!!! T_T Honestly, I would've sworn on a bible that they planned on a big wet kiss right there. Geh, but as many of you all know we were sadly disappointed. =/ But this was still hot anyways. The intensity of Oh Ji Ho's determination to get Sang-shil to stop being so stubborn was hawt. Man, if I could just hug him right now *_* This scene gets an 8/10 only because there was no kiss xP

Aiya another great Chul-soo and Sang-shil moment! The tenderness of it all just kills me. It was a lot like those bus scenes in Choon-hyang. Both Oh Ji Ho and Jae Hee have that way of looking at their leading ladies that just makes me choke up. I swear, if they had him kiss Sang-shil on top of the head before he moved her head over I would've exploded on the spot. *thinks what my room would be like with Theed goo all over the walls*

Once again ladies and gentlemen: Oh Yoo-gyung. Boo!!!! Gawd she was just annoying on all sorts of different levels. Why the hell did she need to bring flowers to Chul-soo's office? Why??? And then she's so friggin persistent she went all the way to his house to give him those lame flowers. And then she made Sang-shil feel two inches high when she knew perfectly well how much pride Sang-shil had to swallow just to ask her in to get some help on tending to the boys. And then she goes and takes all the credit about it all to Chul-soo and bad mouths Sang-shil when she was the one who told her to leave in the first place! Oh oh! And the WATCH. My god that stupid WATCH. >>; She goes around acting all sappy asking him for the watch back and then shoving it up Sang-shil's face. Thank _goodness_ Chul-soo isn't running all over the place for her at this point like most k-drama dudes tend to do. Punch her! Punch HER! PUNCH HER!!!!!

K, I _had_ to bring this award back. I think if I forgot everything about this series except for one thing, the one thing I'd remember would be this scene. The whole music just built up all these emotions inside of me and just looking at how depressed Sang-shil is about feeling like a burden (a la flower bundle >P), I was this [ ] close to crying. And this isn't even a sad drama! All that string music + piano was ugh, grab my heart-heart wrenching. Plus, you really gotta hand it to the FC folks, most dramas have a set OST from the get go. Very rarely do you get fresh music midway through the show. *applauds*

Overall thoughts: Another absolutely wonderful episode. ...yea? That's all I got to say. Great episode, nothing else to mention. Sue me. =P
