third cup

Well this was probably one of the most moving scenes I've seen in a drama for a while. It's sort of a bittersweet moment because Eun-chan is remembering all those happy family memories (or something like that since it's going on in Han-gyul's apartment) yet we all know her father's gone. I've been fortunate enough to never have suffered the loss of a close relative, so I can't really imagine the sort of pain Eun-chan experiences, but YEH does a good job in portraying that sadness.

So, even though the woman is a useless spendthrift, it sure is nice to know that she at least has the ability to make her daughter feel better when she's down in the dumps. Although, this probably wouldn't have been so bad if she didn't put so much stress on her daughter to make money in the first place. Ah well *hands both of them lollies*

I wonder how long it took Eun-chan to create all that for Han-gyul and for what purpose who knows. But like I said Eun-chan is pretty much a free spirit, so I guess this was one of her whims, to make someone's morning a little more cheerful. Hey, even Han-gyul thought it was cute. *pinches his cheeks*

Ha-rim cracked me up with his blood curdling scream. I loved how they made all the guys sissies yet Eun-chan thinks it's like the kewlest thing ever to find a bottle full of bugs. Oh I'd love to see this girl on fear factor. She'd probably win that thing in 5 minutes.

How'd he even know that it was her? She's wearing her hood and it's all rainy and stuff. I'm sure glad he came to her rescue, just like a knight in shining armor. Well, knight in a yellow sweater at least :D

Like I've mentioned before, this drama is nice and slow so more romance and no hot moments are fine by me. Especially since this is really early on in the game, I'm sure none of us mind the lack of kinky goodness (slaps self xD). You've got Han-seong and Yoo-joo enjoying one kind of romance which is just the two being able to enjoy the other's company (although the finger-shoe thingie was just odd in my book) and then there's the other kind of romance where neither of the two know that they're going to end up liking each other and so far are just enjoying the company of a friend. It's real sweet and I like the calm mood and for once I'm going to shut my mouth about wanting to see some action.

OH. HELL. NO! That boy did NOT just tell Eun-chan to clean up his mess. Plus he totally just brushed her to the side the entire time Yoo-joo was trying to greet Eun-chan properly. Man I REALLY wanted to slap that boy upside the head and then some. And then he had the gall to scream his head off at Eun-chan for the coffee bean order. There's no point in yelling at her, she already clearly felt bad about the situation and it's not like yelling would fix the situation. Geez I just wanna punch something now *eyes Care Bear*
Overall thoughts: Pretty good episode up until the very end where Han-gyul cheesed me off. I think I'm going to have to get something to drink to wash that out of my system. Excuse me. *bows out*
