episode 4

This part kinda hits home with me because similar situations have happened when my mom talks about her parents and how she misses them. Of course...Choon-hyang's mom's crying could've just been a show so that she could ditch them. Mom's are devious like that, I can totally see the horns growing out of her head right now >=D

Ah even though Mong-ryong was a bit of a fence-sitting doesn't know who he wants husband, he did have his fair share of nice moments like him going with Choon-hyang and her mother to her father's memorial. But I liked this moment a lot because even though he really wanted to go meet up with Chae-rin he cared enough about Choon-hyang to stay with her so late to find her wallet.

This was so totally "look at me, look at me!!! WHY AREN'T YOU LOOKING AT ME???". You guys know the drill, like when you want your parents to see you do a canon ball into the pool. And I loved how he just stormed off after he didn't get the response he wanted. Gawd, this kid is still in elementary school I tell ya.

Holy moly, they needed to hire this grandma for Shin and Chae-gyung during the hapbang scene. Gawd, just look at her cackling away and feeding the fire. And did you see that pile of wood she had? She could've kept goin the whole night. Geez, what a naughty little grandma trying to get these two to do *nudge nudge wink wink*. If she has kids of her own, she probably has a legion of grandchildren by now.

I love all of Jae Hee's facial expressions. His scrunched up pouty look is soooooooo MOE~!!! Like when he was at the club with Choon-hyang and he whined to her about talking to Director Byun. I love how they made Mong-ryong a wee bit empty in the head so he doesn't even know words like herring, haha and he was like "wtf it's a fish!?". And then later on he goes "I know what a herring is, it's a fish!" MOE!!!

OMG @#$%^&!!!! IF YOU HAVE A SHIRT LIKE THAT WEAR IT!!!!! I swear, the instant I saw Jae Hee walk through the door I melted into a little puddle of goo. Apple and I have discussed this til the cows came home and we both mutually agree that _any_ guy can become instantly hotter if he wears an open collar shirt. Extra points if he wears a necklace with it (but not bling please, that's just ew). As for what Choon-hyang wore to the club, I guess she's going for the farmer look? I love plaid, but not like that, and especially not paired up with a half-cut denim vest. Nothing screams lumberjack more than that. x_O

Augh look at how he's holding her hand! And I can totally see the sparks flying between their eyes. If only they just leaped into a smash kiss that would've been _so_ awesome. And for once I didn't have to make something up just so I could feel the heat ^^;

I could have chosen any other moment these two shared in the ep like when she encouraged Mong-ryong to study hard to get into Korea University. But I really enjoy seeing them having fun together, especially this high energy fun smashing soda cans instead of the lame sweet kind, like...riding on swings in a playground? o_O Anywho, we even got a little skinship when they had to thwack each other on the head. That could lead somewhere...kinky? Yes, yes I am xD

Director Byun seriously has the mind set of a light bulb. The instant he sees/hears anything bad about Choon-hyang his entire demeanor towards her just flips a 180. Dude, at least confront Choon-hyang about the whole trying to get him to meet her friend ordeal. I mean IF it was true that Choon-hyang did all that to get him to make Dan-hee a star, he should at least tell her that he doesn't work that way, etc. etc. But anyways he's pretty gross when you think about. I mean he's getting all into a high schooler. I mean it's one thing to have an age difference, but even he mentioned the fact that she was a high schooler when he found out Mong-ryong was her husband. You probably think I'm being hypocritical because of Sweet18, but the thing is Hyuk-joon didn't really fall for her until she matured a little. As for Chae-rin, I don't know what her problem is. I mean, I know she's a b*tch and all, but way to show bad class by taking that cell phone charm right in front of Choon-hyang's face. I actually think it's a little worse than when she was purposely wiping Mong-ryong's face outside the restaurant where both their families ate right in front of Choon-hyang and her mom since she knew that cell phone charm held a little emotional weight for Choon-hyang. Aish, just look at the smug little smile of hers. *mutters to self*

That guy oughta be put in bars for scamming a young innocent girl like that. For all we know he could've been able to convince her to do nude photo shoots or porn or something. But Dan Hee is pretty pathetic for being so desperate to become a star. *shakes head* Which is why I'm so glad Choon-hyang is so much stronger than that. Kudos to her for marching her straight to the hotel to get things settled and make sure they know they're creepy jerks. Sometimes I really wish I had ties to the Japanese Yakuza or some other mob-gangster equivalent so I could just send some guys to beat up jerks like Director Baek. >(
Overall thoughts: Mong-ryong's jerkiness is starting to come out with his desire to go after Chae-rin. I really hate it when they do that in K-dramas, but I guess in this case it's kinda necessary. I dunno why it's necessary, but I do know I love this drama to bits and pieces, so I guess all this upcoming angst is well worth it.
