episode 17

I know I've ranted about how much I hated Hak-do, but at the same time he's still human (I think), so if you can turn the other cheek and forgive the guy I guess you should. Took him like what? Five years, but at least he _finally_ found a heart and let Choon-hyang go. At least he gave Choon-hyang and Mong-ryong enough time to have kids.

This is what I love the most about seeing any couple get together. After you sit though and endure all that angst, it's just nice to sit back and finally enjoy seeing them be together. Seeing this pure and sweet kind of joy just makes you think it was all worth it. Now just throw in 3 kids in the mix and we're good to go :D

That whole interrogation scene was so funny, especially with the sleeping judges. But when Mong-ryong told her that if she didn't say she didn't love him by the time he counted to 3 he'd take it as if she did love him and he said "hana-deul-set" really fast, that was just priceless. This dude is just like one big kid inside, I wouldn't be surprised if he had a stash of candy behind his pillow. I also loved those big googly eyes he got when he saw how fast Choon-hyang came back to get him medicine. Just so cute how he was so amazed like a kid seeing a magic trick for the first time: "Wah!! Do it again! Again! Again!" [/teletubies]

This was like the most random thing to happen in the entire series. I can't believe the dude actually wanted Ji-hyuk to sign his back, and then he kept going on about how he was a little smelly since he hadn't bathed in like 2 days or whatever. Well at least he wasn't some crazy fangirl wanting him to sign her boobs, oi that'd be ugly *shudders*

Okay. Last time: WAH OMG OMG LOOK HOW HOTT HE IS!!!!! *takes deep breath* Man, just look at that deep pissed off intensity in his eyes. I'm gonna miss fangirling over him. =/ (btw he's is SO working that black suit + tie).

Dang, Han Chae-young doesn't know how lucky she is. She got to wear TWO (well technically three) wedding gowns in this drama. And they were both pretty ones too! Normally I'm not a big fan of sleeves on a wedding dress, but this dress just completely turned me around. Jae Hee is also looking his fine self in that tux of his. The light blue waist coat and tie were actually not bad and accented the tux rather nicely. And omg, I must not forget to mention Chae-young's tiara. Have I ever told you guys about my fascination for tiaras? Honestly, it's the only reason why I ever watch beauty pageants. Soooo shiny *___*

Ok, so you know how I said that Jae Hee is one of the few guys who can rock those sweaters? Well I lied, there are some that he can't work no matter how hot he is. Granted, he looks a lot better in this than any other guy would ever will, but the lime green strips are just a no-no. Hello, he's supposed to be this fierce champion of the law, but instead he just looks like he should be teaching the third grade.

Gah! The way he just pulled her into that kiss! I want that! But geez, what is wrong with Choon-hyang? When Mong-ryong threatened to kiss her again unless she said she'd marry him, she actually said yes! Dude, if the consequence is being kissed by that beautifully piece of man, the answer is always no! ALWAYS SAY NO! *slaps her upside the head*

This is probably the best summation of two people's love I've seen in a long while. It was just so clever how they switched back and forth between their two lives and their promises to love each other no matter what was just the perfect way to end this series. *le sigh*

If any of you have read my My Girl reviews, you probably saw this coming a mile away. Seriously what the eff??? You could -so- tell they were attached to lines. I mean, c'mon I've seen stuff made in the 50's that were more believable than this. Plus this shot just looks so unprofessional, which is a huge wtf considering the Director has done just a bang up job for the rest of this series. Way to eff things up in the last episode >>;
Overall thoughts: *cries* Wah this series is over! This was my third romantic comedy k-drama that I watched (preceded by Sweet18 and Full House) and I had great expectations for other romantic comedies, but other dramas haven't really measured up to how much I love Choon-hyang. Just the energy and the chemistry of Han Chae-young and Jae Hee in this series is really hard to match, plus the entire cast is one of the best to boot. Ok there was that one eff up when the woman who played Choon-hyang's mom left the show, but otherwise it was so good! Plus this series had one of the best endings of any drama out there, all of Asia included. For Pete’s sake it had a wedding! A lot of other shows just end with them getting together and leave it at that, but nope not here. The only thing they could've done to make me happier was if they showed them having kids. But of course we know we don't need that here because you know they're gonna get busy after having been apart all these years *wriggles eyebrows* And you guys all saw how Chae-rin got engaged when she went to New York? Wow, that's like never happened before. A formerly evil maniac witch actually moving on with her life? Amazing. It actually makes all this a little more real :D Ok well, I guess that's about it from me and my thoughts on Choon-hyang. Hope you guys enjoyed this as much as I have doing this. And remember: Mind your own business! xD
