episode 12

Ok, so this is more cute than anything, but still I felt kinda bad for Mong-ryong's dad when he thought he was going to have a grandchild, but then didn't. Just look how depressed he is. Why is this even cute? Because even after all that, he was still trying to come up with names for the kid. Although if it was a girl, she sure would have a funny name. I don't think I've ever heard of a Korean name for a girl that had the syllable 'Bong' in it. It'd probably give rise to another Sam-soon esque series that's for sure

Mong-ryong sure can get carried away when he wants to. I'm surprised he didn't just move his parents' bed outside the house while they were sleeping and then drag Choon-hyang in the house. At least he's caring for his wife....or practicing to become a professional thief.

Lol those ahjummas made him cry. It was so cute how he ran up to Choon-hyang like a little kid with a boo-boo. And then later on that grandma kept shutting him down, his reactions were so cute. I can't believe he got guilt tripped into doing all those chores. He should've just tried to sneak away as fast as he could.

Well all good things must come to an end. After all, he did just get his mom to buy a car for them. I'm just surprised he didn't come up with that baby scheme weeeeeks ago. Watching Ji-hyuk trying to tell him that Choon-hyang was hilarious though. Remind me to never have Mong-ryong on my team when we're playing charades. Especially the kind where every time you lose you have to strip. We'd be nekid in 5 minutes.

OMG his _smile_. Have I ever fangirled about his smile? Like holy bejesus his teeth are too white for their own good. Seriously his smile is a Catch 22: every time he flashes it you die, but at the same time you can't live without it. Oh the choices in life =/

This is a perfect example of good layering + good color combination. Seriously Choon-hyang must have at least two people in charge of wardrobe because he can have really good outfits one scene and then a really hideous outfit the next. Well, scratch that. He can have really good upper wear one scene and really hideous upper wear the next. Seriously, does he _ever_ change his pants? He's worn those jeans ever since he moved to Seoul. I can't exactly say why, but there's something about those jeans that I don't like. But PLEASE give me a change of pants. I wonder if those jeans ever got washed...

IT'S ABOUT DANG TIME. Geez, these two confessed a long time ago, yet _now_ they're finally kissing? Geez, is kissing that big of a deal in Asia. It's like you have to get on your knees and beg for a good kiss scene, and if you want more you have to throw in a sacrificial goat. It's actually a pretty good kiss for what it is, it's just that Han Chae-young, in classic Korean actress fashion refuses to part her lips the tiniest bit. Way to kill the mood. The director had to make up for it with sweeping camera motions, whereas with most good kisses all you have to do is zoom in with the camera and that's it. At least Jae Hee was doing his part. I watched his lips, they were parted. That dude was ready for a French kiss that's for sure.

I love rain scenes to bits and pieces. I love how Mong-ryong told her to hold his hand on their way out and just look how close they are under the umbrella. Too bad the mood was ruined when Hak-do came flying in like a maniac. Kill joy >>;

Ok, it's one thing for his mom to not want him to leave the house. I still hate her for being so judgmental of Choon-hyang, but I don't blame her for thinking the way she does. Now Mong-ryong on the other hand, he's got no excuse. Sure, I'm all for listening to your mom when she tells you not to do something, but when she's being unreasonable, dude just walk out of the house. She'll forgive you later. Sheesh.

I thought Chae-rin was a little messed up calling Hak-do to come allllll the way to the police station at the beginning of this episode just to make Choon-hyang look bad. But this, THIS is just...just...I'm speechless. Sure, manipulate all you want. Her making Choon-hyang look bad in front of her friend when she was showing her that necklace seems like nothing compared to this. This is totally illegal! Stealing Choon-hyang's design? And what's worse, she's involving her mother since it's her mother's company who produced the jewelry. This girl needs to serve some prison time. And not just because she's a criminal, she needs to experience what it's like not being at the top *pounds fist*
Overall thoughts: K, now here's the point where things will start to get ugly. It was really good for the past two episodes, but now Hak-do has just got those obsessed crazy eyes. And I dunno about you, but obsessed crazy eyes never bring anything good to the table. =/
