Episode 1

I guess I _could_ have gone with that time where Mong-ryong sees Chae-rin with a dude and then he goes off all crying on his motorcycle.....but I didn't =P Oh c'mon, tell me this isn't sadder than that? I can't believe Mong-ryong actually bent down to pick up his pants. The suicide attempt was duly expected that's for sure. Why these two were fighting I kinda missed, but eh stick that much testosterone together and that's what you get. And of COURSE they're all buddy buddy afterwards...pfft guys 9_9

Aw look at that, he came to see her while she was sick. But he loses points for not brining soup or flowers or something to make her feel better or cheer her up, not like Dan-hee was doing a good job of it being glued to her computer the entire time >>;

This was such a well thought out and cleverly written sequence of the events by the Hong sisters. I love how the instant these two were put together they're instantly having so much interaction, so awesome. I became a shipper right away. And gawd, I love the character of Mong-ryong, I totally didn't expect him to just run off in that taxi, and when he was waving from her, agh so cute!!! But then Choon-hyang just goes and turns the entire situation around on him, which is why I love her so much since she's so smart. I thought it was so cute how she stuck her tongue out at him and started taking pictures with his phone, she deserves a high five for that.

Haha, just look at the expression Jae Hee makes. But this moment was too freakin hilarious what with the angry dad, and the CG club throwing and Jae Hee doing a matrix back-bend. I mean you can't even say that was cool looking cuz it was so exaggerated. You just gotta point and laugh.

This, ladies and gentlemen (if there are any of you out there reading this), is why I love Jae Hee soooooo much. I think Apple put it best that he has this overwhelming aura of bad boy smeximess emanating from him that it just gets to be so much that you have to explode. Gawd that smirk is so sexy *makes animal noises*

Yes, that's right folks I'm bringing back the fashion award. I remember watching this drama two years ago and falling in love with some of the costuming...and barfing at the rest. For today's episode I present you all with two fashion don'ts. First up: Dan-hee's wannabe bubble gum sugar pop diva getup...dealie. I dunno why she's trying to pull it off, but it's just not working. I like bright colors, but too much is just eye barf. That hat might work if it was white or black, and paired with a COMPLETELY different outfit, just not that. And that scarf thing, well at least what looks to be a scarf (after a cat got through with it that is) is just horrendous, I'd never be caught dead wearing an accessory like that, especially when you're pairing pink against those shades of blue and yellow. As for Choon-hyang's club dance outfit...uh yea -___-; First off, you can't really see it, those black boots + those knee length jeans are just ick. Unless she was trying to blend in with a group of bikers I can only think she put those on in the dark. But the worst part of that outfit is that city-print shirt with free flowing sleeves. Ok, so the city-print stuff isn't so bad, so much as those sleeves. I really hated that trend when it happened, and I still see people wearing those sleeves from time to time. IMO I think those sleeves are just a waste of fabric and don't really flatter anything in anyway. The only time I think those sleeves would be appropriate would be a dress.....that was made during the Renaissance.

So...this really _should_ be the perviest award, but hey I'm not about to make that permanent, I'll get a bad reputation xD It's too bad Choon-hyang deleted the pictures and then smashed his phone, those pictures could've kept Mong-ryong from being lonely on some nights...*whistles innocently*

This is episode one. EPISODE ONE!!!! And we already get this???? Even though they're still bickering with each other, it's that cute playground boy-pulls-girls-pigtails type of bickering. I'm literally gushing here watching Mong-ryong take off his blazer to put around Choon-hyang. *clasps hands and gives a big girly sigh*

Ok, to be honest I really didn't think anything in this episode was worthy of a wtf. Yup, this show is that good. But eh I had to find something, so I forced this in here. So um, I guess the wtf here is how the heck could Mong-ryong drink an entire bottle of wine and not taste the alcohol? Especially when he got that drunk. Even for someone who's never tasted alcohol before that's just weird.
Overall thoughts: If I could sum up this episode with one word, it'd be chemistry. Jae Hee and Han Chae-young have so much of it I could die. Less than half way into the episode and you already get so much of these two together! As much as I love My Girl and Fantasy Couple, I think Choon-hyang will be my favorite of the dramas made by the Hong sisters, I just instantly fell in love with this drama the second I started watching. I also love how they include those Josun dynasty parodies at the end of every episode, so clever and unique compared to any other drama out there. If you're reading this and have only seen the first episode, keep watching, it just gets better and better.
